killerbeer0 Posted September 27, 2008 Share Posted September 27, 2008 Is the difference between +117 and +141 very noticeable? I'm debating using Karil's or Verac's skirt. I'm kind of favoring Verac's for looks, the skirt looks terrible... I do, however, safespot most of the time whenever I can (and I almost always can) so the added def bonuses, while useful for slayer , may not be worth the loss of accuracy in the long run. I'm really wondering if the difference in hourly XP will be noticeable or not, will I be losing like 2k XP/hr or 10k? EDIT: And I dont really want to test it, because one piece gets sold, and repairing is a pain in the you know what.... OH S***! He/she/it is back! I suggest owning both since they are both useful but if you can't stick with the karils skirt since you safespot alot. But veracs is always good for a tank. davidium Posted September 27, 2008 Share Posted September 27, 2008 karil is useless unless you are looking for MAGE DEFENSE...it provides lousier melee defense and EQUAL RANGE ATTACK BONUS as blk d hide...anyway so i don't get flamed for getting "off-topic" yes it does make a big difference...just calculate the percentage difference and you will see it is quite large... no idea why you are so insistent on using karils...even if you make a small profit all the time, if you use blk d hide you will make a larger profit no? the cost saved can be used to buy range potions for you to train with and increase your speed significantly...to conclude, karil is :thumbdown: :thumbdown: :thumbdown: blk d hide is :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: unless you are going for mage defense or rich enough to get armadyl/3rd age...for goodness sake karil's melee defense is more pathetic than blk d hide >.> only time i ever use karil is either GWD or castle war against barragers ;) maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cookinglife may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
