People do buy them but the street price of them is in the tens of millions (way off from the exchanges prices). They are pretty rare to get off the exchange so expect to buy them with alot of junk.

It sells instantly in the ge and you will have to buy one in world 2 or be extremely lucky by getting one in ge.

 

 

 

Id say its easier to sell one then buy one. :P

Aha that's not what i meant lol. I meant if you got one: you wouldn't get the fully price if u sold it.

 

 

 

Example: i have no junk...i do a clue and i get a mask.

 

 

 

Sell in ge=cheap price

 

 

 

Sell as junk=earn tons millions...

 

 

 

But to be honest...i don't do junks nowdays. It's stupid.

 

 

 

 

 

Junk: Items that does not sell in ge or is considered useless cause people do not buy them.

 

 

 

Example: Nails (Sure they are good for construction), but i got 140 rune nails from clues.

 

 

 

I give you them since they are "Junk", and you give me cash for it.

 

 

 

Example....player 1 sells mask (price of mask is 2m)..but on forums it cost 20m...

 

 

 

Player 2 buys it....so player 2 gives 20m in cash....and player 1 gives 18m in junk.

 

 

 

This way they get to sell it for max price.

 

 

 

But getting junk is a problem and stupid.

Well firstly, good luck on buying lol.

 

 

 

Junk is items that wont sell on the exchange and the person doesnt need.. So basically maple longbows (U), Iron Plates, Summon pouches or various other items.. They add this into the trade with the mask to bump up the price of the whole deal. You are basically paying higher for just the mask, as the junk is useless to you aswell.

Mhmm, I was lucky enouugh to get a mask ... but could only sell for 3m +junk because I didn't have enough time to collect junk.

If you want the item then of course? It's not like you will have any trouble selling back if you get bored of it afterwards (if you are actually lucky enough to get one in the first place)

You'd have to have junk already in the first place to make money effectively.. Otherwise you'll be spending hours cutting maples into unstrungs or some other method to collect junk, whereas in that time you could've made the money anyway.

Well thats not gonna make you any actual profit is it mate, because you bought the junk you're throwing in with the trade.

 

You have to accumulate your own junk yourself, or get it from a past deal that involved junk.

Thats the entire point of a junk trade - to manipulate the trade meter into being the actual street price worth, not the exchanges price.

Ya its definitely NOT easy to get them out of the GE

 

Step 1: Offer RIGHT after an update.

 

Step 2: a person who doesn't know what they're worth put them in the GE.

 

Step 3: Make junk sell them on street for a lot more.

 

 

 

I got Cat, wolf, bat, and peng. Have a waiting offer on cat, but making junk takes awhile :wall:

The only reason animal masks are so high is because people just decided to make them another one of those items with an invisible price tag in the tens of millions ;)

 

 

 

When animal masks became lendable, people were willing to sell for pure cash and even sell for junk. Once people started to realise that merchanters were buying them all up though (a couple hours later) people stopped selling em and held onto em.

 

 

 

If merchers didn't buy them all back up at that time and didn't keep the demand up for them, they woulda dropped like top hats did. From 5M down to 700k in time.

 

 

 

I'm really over all these items with their invisible price tags, I hope jagex ruin junk trading eventually and their true prices will be revealed :roll:

 

 

 

So as the future is concerned, watch out for new items that'll become the victim of this on going garbage :x

People would easily buy for 10m more than its worth.

 

Thats 10m in 10 hours. Thats double crafting nats at old prices.
