Would I get a decent amount of charms from waterfiends?

Is it worth me gong to waterfiends for charms or should I go elsewhere?

What is a good setup for waterfiends?

Waterfiends are the way to go! however, a Bunyip really shines in there, perhaps stay at dusties like you were until 68 summon,

then do waterfiends!

Later noob.

No i dont think you would hold up too well against waterfiends. I suggest using slayer overall. Or if you just want to grind try giant roaches for chrimsons. Other options are shadow warriors, or demons.

Tbh, I agree with the slayer, but I heard from a reliable source that shadow warriors/demons

aren't good for charms, but feel free to try them out, W/E suits you best!

Yeah they are not the greatest, but until he gets higher lvls i dont think those better options are fully open.

Edit: Wow i forgot about dusties. Yeah go with dusties they are much better then what i said before.

I agree. Bunyip is nearly essential for waterfiends, atleast if you want to be successful, But I still think dusties would be better for

Jax until then.

Yea, I'm at dusties atm ;)

I can tell you that I tried waterfiends at similar melee levels and still got faster charms than any other monster I had tried up to that point, including dusties; however, I did have a bunyip already at the time, so I'd have been making longer trips than you could probably make.

Dusties? What kind of help are you giving him? Just stick with Slayer, trust me, Dusties are a FAILURE.

Slayer is ok, but i really think it is overrated when it comes to getting charms. It really depends on your task, but from what tasks i get i get less then 20 charms an hour and since he is asking about waterfiends i dont think he wants to be wasting time just killing he wants the charms.

I reckon you'll be OK.

Wear Karils/Black D-Hide and pray range. Your mage is medium so shouldn't have too many issues. Make sure you use a crush weapon though.

You will need food, but maybe a regen bracelet will help. Also worth noting Guthans DOES work as it has a crush option. The waterfiends use range 7/10 so you should be fine Guthaning back up.

What skill does the crush option train?

In the case of guthans, its controlled. For other wepons it depends, but i am pretty sure for the most part others train str. And i am not sure if you know, crush is their weakness most other forms of attack dont hit often.

Controlled for the zammy spear, strength for the sara sword. I think strength for a godsword too if you used one of those.

The question is, is it it for me to go to waterfiends?

Is is? Well, at your stats no, stick with slayer.

If your just aiming to get charms, then dusties are much better than Slayer. Slayer is probably better over all because you get slay exp, but you'll be getting charms faster at dusties.
