October 7, 200817 yr Well I picked Slayer up, and didn't do Smoking Kills. Now I'm doing it. In Zanaris I get mostly: blue dragons, lesser demons, kalphites, harpie bugs Only tasks I get in between are Turoth, and Zygomites. Is it possible Sumona gives an assignment more often too? Or is it still totally random? Because I want that slayer helmet. And then, when I start, I need to do 5 assignments before points come in. So for speed, should I go to Burthope for the first five, and then go to Sumona? "We had gay burglars the other night. They broke in and rearranged the furniture."
October 7, 200817 yr DO NOT GO TO BURTHORPE, cos if you do 5 burthorpe task it will not do anything and it will not count towards your first five task as he is used to reset your task numbers, you should now forget about the one in burthorpe and forget it ever existed and use vannaka or tureal if you want then swap to duradel for the 10th 20th 30th etc tasks then you will get the mask fairly quickly bu i just used chealder all the way as she gave me decent tasks and fairly good exp. [spoiler=Sig] I like to think of the Dark Bow like a Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) - you get one shot and then you're screwed.
October 7, 200817 yr Author Burthope? What's Burthope? Where is it? Is their a Slayer master? Neverh eard of it... lol Thnx for your reply, any other thoughts? "We had gay burglars the other night. They broke in and rearranged the furniture."
October 7, 200817 yr sorry, i thought you mentioned in your post that you were going to use burthorpe for the first five slayer tasks to get your points, and yes there is a slayer master in burthorpe... [spoiler=Sig] I like to think of the Dark Bow like a Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) - you get one shot and then you're screwed.
October 7, 200817 yr oli I think he was joking and 'forgot' where it is after you told him to :P But yeah, I would always use duradel for slayer xp, but for the helmet (if you just want that, rather than long-term slaying) do 9 tasks from the canifis master, then every 10th do the highest master you can go to). Proud Leader of the Corruption Clan. PM me to set up a fight or for any queries relating to my clan.
October 7, 200817 yr First five tasks, go to Machzna or W.E his name is, step up to Chaeldar on the 6th to 9th, and if you think you are good to go, do a Sumona for 10th. Then 11-19 Chaeldar, 20 Sumona, repeat. Unless you can use duradel, then do Sumona instead of Chaeldar, and Duradel instead of Sumona. Its sposed to be tops. I dont need a siggy no moar.
October 7, 200817 yr yeah you just got to stick it out...once you get helm u can spent points on cancelling/blocking tasks you'd rather not do :) "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
October 7, 200817 yr I think using the points blocking tasks BEFORE you get your helm would be better. Noone likes a slow task with bad xp. Kalphites. I dont need a siggy no moar.
October 8, 200817 yr Author Thnx guys. I think I go to that canifis guy from now to let say 6th task. Then Chaldear, because I tried one, just one task with Sumona, and it was a Iron dragon task...wich, I don't have the money for now. So Canifis guy 1 till 5 6-9 Chaldear 10 th Sumona repeat. Well blocking tasks can be a good one too. Like kalphites. Annoying, no drops. But hey, I give it a try! "We had gay burglars the other night. They broke in and rearranged the furniture."
October 8, 200817 yr If you have cannon that would be the best thing to use on kalphites to make task go by faster. If you get a slayer ring that would also help in teleporting to Sumona, but i wouldnt recomend buying the rings for 75 points each or spending 300 on how to make until after getting Slayer helm.
