Vulxai
viewtopic.php?f=103&t=744156 View that guide to fully understand what I'm talking about. Ok, it's late, and this is usually when I figure some goals out and costs to get to these goals (if any). So, I was reading Kent's summoning guide (because I want 70 summoning for my zammy egg waiting in my bank), and I was reading the "Advanced" way to level up, and it mentioned it's for people going for 99 only. So, should I just level up by the "Casual" way? Or stick with the "Advanced" way? Or even another way that Kent didn't mention? Also, as I understood, I should do some researching on the GE and buy pouches to trade in for shards, instead of the actual shards, correct? ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
RayOxide
I dont do it kents way. I just build up charms and use them when i have enough for a level or 2. And if you're going for 70, you should check what you should use crims and blues on especially. Btw yeah researching into the GE price -> shard rate is smart. Doesnt save much though. If you're too lazy, people on forums sell for 23ea, i think I dont need a siggy no moar.

I don't do junk trading (mainly because I don't have junk, and think it's pointless to buy junk). ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
RayOxide
Well, you dont buy junk, you make junk. Fletch junk really. Maple log -> longbow is like 100gp+ on junk, Anyway, I personally find buying them from forums, usually max of trade, no junk included is pretty awesome, cause you can just spare like 10 mins a day getting like 20k :) And if you're summoning and want a level dont do the weirdly suspiciously-quick-made summon guide of kents. His is for use of holding charms til you get like 80 then using them :| I dont need a siggy no moar.
cat666
Yeah just build up charms for your goal. Try to save the blues if you can but to be honest it makes no real difference if you only want 70. Use the skill planner on here and work out the levels using pouches whose 2nd you can easily gather/afford. Trust the Gene Genie!

Don't worry, for you (and 98% of the people) the regular way is the way to go. ilovecardj
Kents guide is truely great. Just follow the basic ideas of his, especially holding charms when you can and stuff like that. IE. I had 68 summon. I had no future goal till 79 summon. I whoarded charms till 79 then used them. This way I got more exp out of my crimsons, by using higher level pouches as i leveled more with gold/green. Then i saved till 88 basically, again gaining more exp out my crimsons and then i used my blues to get the unicorn faster. using blues on titans. In the long run I got the levels faster then If i used them every couple levels. But not the fastest possible compared to pure saving till 99. But i am reaping the rewards off of the summons I do want faster. Now with 88 summoning I may whoard till 92 for wolpertinger, or maybe just get 89 im not sure yet. Then ill be whoarding till pak yak. then steel titan Dragon Drops: 80+ boots, 7 med, 3 skirt, 2 left half, 2 Spear, 2 2hSlayer: 30+ whips, 4 Bows, 1 Mask, 3 Granite Legs, 1 Visage (Wyverns)Notable GWD Splits: Bandos Tassets: 12, Bandos Chest: 11, Bandos Hilt: 2Proud Slayer of 99 Att/Str/Def/HP/Range/Summoning

I just buy in rounds so that I can go around the 2gpea, like buying up to the amount my *or their* limit can give 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]
