Its kinda random, some take a while to get rune defender while others can get in an hour or 2. I got to a mithril defender in about an hour and a half and gave up for a month, came back and got from mith-rune in like 30 mins.

The first one usually the hardest to get from there it basically smooth sailing

getting bronze is the toughest

 

usually takes 500-1000 or so for bronze then maybe just 1000 or less for the others

I did it in a day, I will also vouch for the fact that it took me forever to get bronze but after that it was smooth sailing.

I know for myself that I got iron, took one hour, then one hour for steel and one hour for black, and only like 40 mins for mith. Then from there I got addy, and rune so quickly it wasnt funny

 

 

 

Wont take too long and you should pick up alchables and dont bury the bones. Decent xp too.

it all depends on the person's luck and use ring of wealth i used it when i was clue hunting at cyclopes and ive got around 15 rune defenders now

All luck, took me a day also.

Two days of intermittent playing. Pick up a ring of wealth, they DO help the drop rate. I got stuck with black for about 500 tickets, then shot through the rest in about 20 cyclops. It's always variable. They also also drop decent things to high alch/sell to the warrior's guild shop if you grab them.
