Are my stats good enough for barrows?

They look good to me. It'd help if you raised your mage and range to 70+ (range more than mage, I guess), and 55 slayer for slayer dart (or you could use a wind blast/wave if you wanted). You look ok to go now though.

mage is alot more important, as you kill all brothers except ahrim with mage.

and i'd get 55 slayer for slayer dart. and you can use broad bolts which is a nice bonus.

Yes, but they have a very low mage attack bonus, so it's not as important as it would be if they had some. I think it's a little more important to be able to kill Ahrim at a decent speed than to maybe get the melee brothers killed faster.

There's a good guide on the site, but if you plan to use heavy prayer,

Full Mystic Clothing

God Cape (Not mage, the one w/ prayer boosts)

Glory Amulet/Holy Amulet

Staff + Prayerbook

Bring 6-10 prayer potions, 6-10 pieces of food, runes, and alterante armor.

95/99 Summoning

95/99 Slayer

With 50 prayer, you can easily make it through without any prayer potions (but bring 1 just in case).

What you do is first go into Dharok's crypt, pray on him and kill him, then move to Karil, pray on him and kill him, then go to Verac, use any remaining prayer if you want to, kill him, then move to Ahrim (switch to range), kill him, go to Guthan, and then Torag.

So it's: Dharok (pray and use mage)

Karil (pray and use mage)

Verac (pray should be gone, use mage)

Ahrim (no pray and use ranged)

Guthan (no pray and use mage)

Torag (no pray and use mage).

You shouldn't have a problem with any of the brothers in the tunnel unless it's Dharok or Karil, if it's one of those two, use your prayer potion when fighting and pray on them. Otherwise, just kill them.

Usually when I go, I take a whip (to up my kill count), d'hide body and chaps, msb, one prayer potion, rune plate and legs (to use when not using pray), spade (DO NOT FORGET), and the rest food (I think I might have forgotten some items, it's been a very long time since I've gone, other people can probably fill you in better, this is just a cheap and easy set up)

And then I wore a farseers helm, monk robes, elemental staff, mystic boots, barrows gloves, god cape, glory, Ring of Life (just in case), and have some arrows equipped (only used on Ahrim).

I use the monk robes for the prayer, and switch the the rune plate and legs when I'm not using my prayer. Remember, this was a set-up I used from a guide I found a long time ago consisting of very cheap but effective items. There are better set-ups than this, but it's simple to get started and scout it out a few trips if you want.

Karil (pray and use mage)

I hope that's a typo.

Black salamanders own btw.

You can't safespot with salamanders, if I'm not mistaken. It's probably still a good option, though.

Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

Possibly, like I said, it's been a very long time since I've went there, but I don't recall ever meleeing the brothers.

Assuming that the brothers' abilities and stats reflect that of their armor sets, Karil would have extremely high mage defence. Coupled with the fact that mage is the least cost effective of the three combat styles.

My mage works perfectly fine with him.

Next brother should be Karil, since he is the most accurate out of all the brothers, thanks to his ranger armour. Again, he should always be killed with prayer. Mage attacks will work perfectly fine with him, although lower levels may miss a fair few.
