tryto Posted October 25, 2008 Share Posted October 25, 2008 Well, I lost my fire cape for the fourth time a few months ago, and I've finally decided to go get another one now. This time, however, I have void ranged armour, so I'm wondering how it would perform compared to a conventional setup. I'm fairly adept at safespotting and luring fight cave monsters, so I don't need much defence. Below are pictures of my projected setups. Please note that I will not buy: *archer ring *ranger boots *unholy book Because I don't want to spend the cash and/or cannot purchase them due to junk trading/scarcity. Any equipment recommendations or experience on void in the fight caves would be appreciated :) I'll probably use emerald bolts and an explorer ring. I have an armadyl helm that I might use in the conventional setup, still deciding however. Thanks! Inuashakent Posted October 25, 2008 Share Posted October 25, 2008 I'd personally go classic style, but that's just because it's just more simple, and you do get hit alot less.. less stress and much more simple. I mean really, you save 15 minutes at Caves, but it makes healers more annoying as well. And you think you have it bad? Who Posted October 25, 2008 Share Posted October 25, 2008 Void's 10% bonus is not exchangeable with the defense and prayer bonuses that Verac armour offers. Second one is better by far. amitoz Posted October 25, 2008 Share Posted October 25, 2008 I agree. The normal setup is much better off. Besides void is for people trying to break the Jad record.. 19.5 secs last I checked. Come to my Clan chat (I'm there if I'm online) if you wish to borrow a Green H'ween mask, Blue H'ween Mask, Red H'ween Mask, or Santa for a reasonable price.
