walka92
im 97 mage, wanting to get 99 give me ideas on how to get exp as fast as possible. most of my exp was done slowly, mainly with battle spells at dks/barrows/ some stun/some burst, and minimal alchs money is really no problem atm, but im not gonna do somehting like barraging for it I'm gonna be walking down an alley in varrock, and walka is going to walk up to me in a trench coat and say "psst.. hey man, wanna buy some sara brew"walka92- retired with 99 in attack, strength, defence, health, magic, ranged, prayer and herblore and 137 combat. some day i may return to claim 138 combat, but alas, that time has not yet come
Caxis
If you want charms, burst rock lobsters. Stringing jewelry with Lunar magic is great exp too, over 140k/hr.
Inuashakent
Money is always a problem. ;) I would personally just alch or Burst Rock lobsters... not efficient, but it's simple and it works. You could do Humidify and Magic imbue. [Summoning guide (AOW)] [Slayer guide] [Melee & Brawl player]
DreamReaper
If you're not going to be bursting or barraging; stringing jewelry would be the most efficient. Not only is it fast, it's also partially AFK-able.
walka92
can ne1 give me a quick summary of the strining? its probably simple but i have a habit of missing out things then making myself look like an idiot I'm gonna be walking down an alley in varrock, and walka is going to walk up to me in a trench coat and say "psst.. hey man, wanna buy some sara brew"walka92- retired with 99 in attack, strength, defence, health, magic, ranged, prayer and herblore and 137 combat. some day i may return to claim 138 combat, but alas, that time has not yet come
DreamReaper
can ne1 give me a quick summary of the strining? its probably simple but i have a habit of missing out things then making myself look like an idiot Get a mud staff, some unstrung gold amulets, and 2x the amount of astrals as amulets. So for every1k amulets, you need 2k astrals. Then just set your spellbook to lunar, click the spell, and watch it go. When you're done sell your amulets to the rouge in Varrock. He'll buy them for minimum G.E. price.

That's not bad :D Sure, there are cheaper ways to train magic, but for that speed 4 gp/xp really isn't bad. Thanks for sharing :P
