pinpoint spells

Well one of the things that gets me sort of mad is when your about to KO your opponent but then he digs into a large pile of tuna potato and your back to step one, beat the brains out of him. Well I was thinking, since there is a spell for locking your enemy in place why not have a spells for such things as jamming prayer, where you could prevent your target from switching their current prayer for 15 or so seconds or indigestion where you couldn't eat for 15 seconds. What are your thoughs on this?

15 seconds? That's enough time for you to switch to full melee gear, do either 2 AGS Specs, 4 dds Specs, 2 dds Specs + 1 Ags Spec, etc.

That's way too long. Maybe for 1 attack length but 15 seconds is an eternity when pking.

No. Part of the point of PKing, is to either KO fast - save up a weapon to hit them hard when they're below half hp - or to grind them down until their food is gone. And 15 seconds??? If you had that spell, mages would be laughing all the way to the bank, they see someone, farcast teleblock, cast the no-eating spell, farcast entangle (or take a hit then run) and then blow the poor guy's brains out while he's unable to move.

If this spell was to come out, it'd have to be castable once every 5 minutes only, and only affect the person for ~5 seconds, probably less.

Hm.... Maybe a spell that slows down eating for a few seconds. I like the idea!

Or, just changing the max on mage spells, to have to factor in your magic level, magic bonus, and maybe certain staffs increase the max hit of each spell?

Maybe a arcane bonus that is like a strength bonus for magic?

Update for fundamental magic pl0x!!
