Skilling0wn
Uh, can someone explain this whole thing to me? What is junk? What is it for? Do I want it? Junk is a "Trade Modifier". Bob has a item worth 1M on GE. But is worth 50M on Street. Sam has .. Granite ( Unsellable ) Worth 50M cash in Ge. But is unsellable. Sam trades the junk for the Item that bob has. to modifie the trade.

Kellis
Got it. I'm still not sure why I'd want to trade something like a mask for a bunch of unsellable granite however. It doesn't seem quite fair for the seller.

It doesn't seem quite fair for the seller. No. But lets see. A party hat. Purple is worth 100M on GE now. But people dont buy it anymore. So people take like.. 75M cash. And the rest junk. Like maple logs, granite? .. Sigils, Anything. EDIT. Kind of hard for me to explain, In lack of English words and all. :(
basiliko
Bob still can choose any other junk he likes or of good usage. Like granite is used for Granite Lobster pouches, so he can earn some summoning xp or cash by selling the pouch The Haraguroi Club: Where Yandere Thrive for Chopping
Skilling0wn
Let me see. Bob has a Purple Partyhat. Worth 100M on GE. But less Street. Sam has 75M coins, and 25M in needles. To justifiy the 100M. So Bob gets 75M cash, and 25M needles.
Warcraft53
Bob has Mask worth 5m on GE and 15 M on street.... So bob has 10m in junk that he could never sell other then to a general store becuase no one buys it... So Bob offers Mask(5m) and Junk(10m) for total of 15k So Jerry puts up 15m cash for it. And everyone is happy. Click Me!!!!!

bogwaga
Yeah basically if something is actually worth more than the trade price, the person who is selling can add a whole bunch of junk to make the buyer pay something closer to the actual street price. Like me selling something with trade price of 1m acually worth 10m. So I add 9m junk, and the buyer ends up paying 10m for the item. Fools_Taco
Junk trades are only worth it if YOU ALREADY have the junk. If you have to get/amass the junk you are wasting your time, you could have been making money other ways. Some people in this game just have to see that number in the trade screen because they are stupid, they don't understand time=money.
