brice1b3
I am planning on purchasing 50k magic longbows for my 50k nats I need to alch. I am wondering after im done with it all, will I have made a profit? I tried looking at the GE price for magic longs and compairing it to the alch price given to me by Tip It but I am still unsure. Agent1777
If you crafted the nats then obviously, you will make a profit. If you bought the nats, you will not make a profit since nats and longbow together cost 1650 and the high alch is only 1536. Still wont cost that much though. starclimber
I dont see how you still can't figure it out if you truly did what you said. Price you will buy Magic Longs - Price it alchs for = what you need.
CampbellMC
If you buy both longbows and natures you lose like 125 gp each. So you would lose 6.25M.
basiliko
Currently the ge price for Magic Longbow is 1,403, and nat 234. High alch yields 1,536. So you will make a loss of 101gp per cast, which means you loss 50.5k overall. But if you use your own nat, then the profit is 133, or 66.5k profit total The Haraguroi Club: Where Yandere Thrive for Chopping

Wizz
but if u made ur own nats dont u have to buy ur pure ess, unless u want to mine it... Pure ess is Cheaper than Nats. Wongton is better than me in anyway~~
lcchs
but if u made ur own nats dont u have to buy ur pure ess, unless u want to mine it... Pure ess is Cheaper than Nats. obviously its cheaper but they still cost 160gp so u will lose 27gp per bow, so its still a lost
Inuashakent
Why would you make Natures when you can make Deaths/Bloods/Laws/Astrals? [Summoning guide (AOW)] [Slayer guide] [Melee & Brawl player]
llamster
Why would you make Natures when you can make Deaths/Bloods/Laws/Astrals? Exactly. Even though you would make a profit if you made the nats yourself, it would be more cost effective to make those other runes and use the profit from that to pay for the alch losses. but if u made ur own nats dont u have to buy ur pure ess, unless u want to mine it... Pure ess is Cheaper than Nats. obviously its cheaper but they still cost 160gp so u will lose 27gp per bow, so its still a lost In that case you shouldn't alch magic longbows. 101gp loss per alch is terrible. Do rune meds or addy square shields. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
