Grogtholomew
Ok, so i was just recently at green dragons in the eastern wildy. and a rev -what-the-hell-ever- came along, this rev attaked me from as far away as i could possibly see with the given runescape camera angles... attacking me instead of the half dozen or so other players within the path of the magic attack. what i'm asking is do revs attack players wearing certain armours, or that have certain stats?? maybe people wearing more expensive armour? why would this npc single me out to attack over the dozen or so people hanging around green drags. who were WAY closer to it. Lacoste
You don't actually think they target people with expensive armour or certain stats do you? -.- It has to do with the rev level, and your own combat level.
Grogtholomew
i understand that. but i was around at least a dozen people who were either very close to my level or at my level. the rev skipped them over.

RSBDavid
No offense, but if revs have a pker-mindset, wouldn't they go for weaker/defenceless targets? [software Engineer] - [Ability Bar Suggestion] - [Gaming Enthusiast]
Inuashakent
It targeted you, and it'll continue to target you until you get out of its wandering zone (which is the whole wilderness...) or you run away far enough. basiliko
The problem is that Revs have extremely long range and a freezing spell. Why would Jagex ever want to create a monster with such insanity is out of my league The Haraguroi Club: Where Yandere Thrive for Chopping
D. V. Devnull
Grogtholomew, were you there longer than the others? Did you happen to be carrying something really valuable in your pack? Is there a chance that you looked like a macroer to Jagex's systems? :-s If you can answer these, I might be able to figure out what happened. :geek: ~D. V. Grogtholomew
i had whatever drops in my invent (few hides, rune dagger, nothing special) i was, however, wearing dragon med helm, legs and boots. abyssal whip, granite boddy and obby cape. so i was wearing a great deal of valuable equipment.. i was at the dragons for at most 10 min, almost everyone else had been there longer. and i don't believe i would look like a macroer to the system, i was talking to people and not really fighting drags in any particular order. Eddo89
Around his level? Combat 88. Around could mean they were all 90s, but he was around them but also the lowest. Which could mean, the Rev could only attack HIM. Or it could be the other way round. Also, he could have been on the edge of the area, hence when the Rev comes, he is the closest target.
