Well, Lately I've taken a liking to soloing the KBD, for several reasons. The charm drops (crimson) are absolutely amazing, not to mention you can make over 100k per trip with any luck. I have some questions, though. I'm able to get usually 6-7 kills per trip with melee (86 attack 99 strength) ( don't tell me to range.. only 75..), anyways, I've seen some guides that say its best to wear something like karil's armor or d'hide as it will lessen the damage dealt from his various breath attacks. Right now I'm using proselyte armor with a dfs. Is it true that if you use something like karils or d'hide, you'll take less damage from his breath attacks? These are what always get me, only allowing me to get 6 kills per trip.

Irrelevant - Proselyte is better.

If you can afford it, use Bando's chest with Verac skirt

Pray piety only

Proselyte gives great prayer bonus so you can protect from melee + incredible reflexes without using up prayer like crazy. I use it.

Interesting.. I have chestplate and tassets, but never thought to use it since praying melee and piety would eat up prayer fast without proselyte. What are your other stats and what special weapon do you use? I find it hard to manage to get 7 kills per trip :S

I would just use piety though.. it allows me to hit 42 with whip :P

Also, War Tortoise for 18 extra slots. All 18 should be shark/brews or whatever you like to use to heal.

shouldnt take long if u use duradel. i get them almost every task

Ye, duracell was stuck in a loop, and I got sick of black drags, so I had to cancel. So there they sit, all lonely on the blacklist.
