worecx
Hey guys, I'm looking for someone who has played WoW and Warhammer (age of reckoning). and i would like to know which of the 2 you really liked more. My friend told me Warhammer is better then WoW and that's also because Warhammer is still in the beginning fase and theres still coming alot of improvements to the game. Please help me decide :D thanks :
dragoonson
WAR.Do it.Do it now. so i herd u liek devarts? If you look at me and feel offended by my 666-ism,think.I could be just as offended by your "cross".[hide=This's why I'm hot]The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".Amen, brother :lol:Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)amen Bruder! nine naked men
WoW is more PvE-oriented. WAR is more PvP-oriented. That's what I made my decision from/ sleep like dead men wake up like dead men
RichieMcD
Depends what you want really, A group of 40 people taking on a boss so big it's level is unknown and it has over 1 Million HP while the average HP of the "raid" wold be about 11000 I'd say. On the other hand you could want 40 people on your side taking on 40 people from the opposite race etc. One game is pretty much built for PvE and a little bit of PvP while the other is the opposite, primarily PvP and some PvE. It's all down to which you would prefer more, although your friend said War has a lot more coming to it WoW is updated rather frequently and there is a huge expansion pack coming out soon. dragoonson
Depends what you want really, A group of 40 people taking on a boss so big it's level is unknown and it has over 1 Million HP. Had an image of him going to WoW and Leroy Jenkins-ing everyone.Just for that,I change my recommendation from WAR to WoW. so i herd u liek devarts? If you look at me and feel offended by my 666-ism,think.I could be just as offended by your "cross".[hide=This's why I'm hot]The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".Amen, brother :lol:Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)amen Bruder! krisc6
Its a lot harder to get immediatly into WAR, i had the problem of it being just too much of a horrible grind but 14 onwards it was fantastic. I quit my WAR account but thats because the new wow expansion is coming out and ill be totally enarmared with that for a couple of months.
Millard
WoW is more PvE-oriented. WAR is more PvP-oriented. Thats basically it. And also Dragonsoon if you havent played either game, why even post?
dragoonson
WoW is more PvE-oriented. WAR is more PvP-oriented. Thats basically it. And also Dragonsoon if you havent played either game, why even post? I spent 5 days straight researching WoW to see if it was worth my money,my 30-day subscription also without sleep trying to perfect myself and failing. It wasn't worth it IMO.And I almost became Ethan for Everquest 2.So I stay out of such games, but WAR seems to have ok reviews. If I sounded like a clueless asshat, then I apologise.I did with WoW what I did with Harry Potter:Willed myself to forget as much as possible.PM for why I did that to HP.Its a long, and asshatty story. If you're wondering how I'm still alive after 35 days without sleep,Red Bull. And sleeping in school. As to how I'm still so damn good looking?Baths in Tiger Beer, followed by drinking it dry. :twss: so i herd u liek devarts? If you look at me and feel offended by my 666-ism,think.I could be just as offended by your "cross".[hide=This's why I'm hot]The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".Amen, brother :lol:Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)amen Bruder! Well, Blizz changed it more casual friendly, now only 25 and 10 mans, WotLK is every raid 10 and 25 man, so everyone have the chance to see end game raids pst. boss lvl = your level + 3 :D and hp is currently 2.7m-8m in 25 mans =D E: Well PVP or PVE, that's you call. Nadril
Sure in WoW you'll see a boss with a bunch of HP, but they're easily killed these days because Blizzard loves stuff to be casual friendly. In WAR you will see PvP on a massive scale. However I won't lie, PvP can still be a bit laggy in large situations -- especially if you have a poor computer. Also, if you dislike PvP I would stay away from WAR. Finally WoW is a hell of a lot easier than WAR in terms of leveling.
Uldric
Personally I'd choose WAR over WoW simply because I enjoy PvP more than PvE. But if you decide to play WoW, PM me so I can Recruit-A-Friend you and get the Zherva mount and faster leveling. [/advertising]
