Mungo0
Okay, so I've calculated that I have 67 summoning banked, and only need a few more crimsons for 68. But I'm also looking to camp there in the long-ish run. So, I was wondering whether my stats would be viable for Waterfiends, and I would also like someone to check my planned inventory. Helm - Dwarven helm. Torso - Karils' top (Is Black Dhide a possible replacement?) Legs - Karils' bottom. (Again, is black Dhide a possible replacement here?) Weapon -Zamorakian Spear. (Is this good enough, or is Saradomin Sword better?) Cape - Legends cape. Gloves - Barrows Gloves Boots - Dragon Boots And ehm, I don't really know about what inventories I'm supposed to take. So, can anyone recommend me a basic inventory? Yes... Yes, that's what he said. :D
CampbellMC
Your stats are kinda low for waterfiends. Check the other 10 topics in this forum asking the exact same question for more info.

pinguimmaiden
Go for it, your stats are very good for it. I did waters 60-68 summoning with void spinner getting 60-65 crimsons per trip :
Mungo0
Okay, I've got everything set up. Only question is, what should my inventory look like? Yes... Yes, that's what he said. :D
pinguimmaiden
1 super attack 1 super strenght 6 prayer pots 2 void spinner pouch Sharks for the rest
Mungo0
Okay, and I suppose I just need to pray Ranged all the time? Oh, and shouldn't I take a sup def as well? Yes... Yes, that's what he said. :D
CampbellMC
Some people are against super defence there because it only gives +10% defence compared to +20% since your magic defence is half of your defence level and half of your magic level. I still recommend you bring it though. And yes, you pray range the whole time.
pinguimmaiden
Yes, pray range while killing. But why bringing a def pot?
CampbellMC
Because you still take damage from magic...
pinguimmaiden
Magic def is based more on your magic lv then at def
Mungo0
Thanks for the informative answers. But I remember reading something about Bunyips, in that at Waterfiends, if your HP is full, you don't pray range and let them injure you until approx 50% of your hp, then let the Bunyip heal you back while still praying. Is this still applicable to Spinners? Yes... Yes, that's what he said. :D
CampbellMC
Well no one actually knows for sure, but most assume that it is 50/50.

Mungo0
Okay, and how often should I repot for my melee stats? Yes... Yes, that's what he said. :D
llamster
1 super attack 1 super strenght 6 prayer pots 2 void spinner pouch Sharks for the rest Pineapple pizzas are WAY better than sharks. Thanks for the informative answers. But I remember reading something about Bunyips, in that at Waterfiends, if your HP is full, you don't pray range and let them injure you until approx 50% of your hp, then let the Bunyip heal you back while still praying. Is this still applicable to Spinners? I've only heard of people doing this with guthan's/unicorn. With a bunyip this would be much less effective, and probably totally impractical with a spinner. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
killerbeer0
My advice would be to buy a regen brace, it'll help you more than you think. And the zamorakian spear is perfect for this. OH S***! He/she/it is back!
