November 10, 200817 yr Hello I am preparing to do Monkey Madness. My question is: Which armour should I wear to Ape Atoll? I am a ranger and will probably range/melee any monsters. Thanks in Advance, Aubergine2c of the Crimson Hunters
November 10, 200817 yr Your levels are rather high, I would recommend standard Rune armor or possibly proselyte armor and neizzy helm. Full your inventorywith around 8 Prayer Pots (4), 6 Super Anti Poison Pots, bring a few Terrorbird Pouchs, around 100 tirelessrun scrolls and fill the rest of the inventory with food. When it comes to the fight, go to the bank, restock on a few prayer pots, ranged pots and bring casual ranged gear. Then use the sigil, own the Jungle Demons and you are done. I haven't done the quest in years, so my memory may be fuzzy. I would do a sample inventory, but I am in the middle of a waterfiends trip.
November 10, 200817 yr Sorry I have no idea on the quest but just a precaution that a wholepost cant be made in a certain colour and it has to be original size. If the original size of your text is too low, hold CTRL and use the scroll circle-thing on your mouse. Roll it up. And if you have to change the background because you somehow cant read the default board colour - go to User Control Panel -> Board Prefrences Ray. \ I dont need a siggy no moar.
November 10, 200817 yr Place a dwarf cannon then hide somewhere; it should die within 30 cannonballs.
November 10, 200817 yr Place a dwarf cannon then hide somewhere; it should die within 30 cannonballs. To kill the demon I just let the Gnomes lower his HP then I mage'd a fire bolt at it. Wongton is better than me in anyway~~
November 10, 200817 yr i sued 25 emmy bolts (e), poisin did a bit but its easy to trap, 1 p-pot dose and 1 shark used DK's Drops: 7 Berserker Rings, 2 Warrior Ring, 1 Archers Ring, 7 Dragon Hatchet, 1 Seercull, 3 Elite Clue - All SoloGWD Drops (CS): 1 Bandos Chestplate, 2 Armadyl Hilt, 1 Armadyl ChestplateSlayer:1 D skirt, 2 Whip, 12 G Mauls, 2 Dragon Boots
November 10, 200817 yr I used monk robes all the way (ok full d'hide on the boss) , it helps save energy (you have to run a lot). For the last boss just magic protect and safe stop his melee attacks (its very easy). IMO the hardest bit is the damn puzzle at the start. [hide=Drops]Dragon Axe x11Berserker Ring x9Warrior Ring x8SeercullDragon MedDragon Boots x4 - all less then 30 kcGodsword Shard (bandos)Granite Maul x 3Solo only - doesn't include barrows[/hide][hide=Stats][/hide]
November 10, 200817 yr OOOOPS, sorry about the colour of me post; I'll try another one. I don't think you get it. You're not supposed to colour your whole post. Period. And the large font is annoying as well.

IMO the hardest bit was the falling rocks and the [bleep]e traps in the monkey tunnel, with the jail following up. You're being watched.
November 10, 200817 yr Author Sorry I have no idea on the quest but just a precaution that a wholepost cant be made in a certain colour and it has to be original size. And if you have to change the background because you somehow cant read the default board colour - go to User Control Panel -> Board Prefrences Ray. \ OK finally got it. I'm using IE 7.0 and I tried the CTRL scroll-circle thing. Didnt work with the forums, so I went into Windows to change the font size. I made the background black and that helps a lot! Thanks.
November 10, 200817 yr I thought the hardest and most annoying part was the jail. As for the armour, priest robes for most of it, letting the gnomes take him, and then finishing him off with dhide and a mage bow(don't melee him) or else magic. Click here to learn the best profit from MTK.
November 11, 200817 yr Anti poisons and Glories! What I did was, teleport to el carad (sp) then take the gnome glider back and over. If you're dying of poison though, edgeville is a better choice. I also might suggest doing the quest on the agility world of 46, there's a lot of people there, who might be willing to help a fellow out. The final boss, the key is to let him get killed by the gnomes then swoop in for the final shot.
