armour for monkey madness

Hello I am preparing to do Monkey Madness. My question is: Which armour should I wear to Ape Atoll? I am a ranger and will probably range/melee any monsters.

Thanks in Advance,

Your levels are rather high, I would recommend standard Rune armor or possibly proselyte armor and neizzy helm. Full your inventorywith around 8 Prayer Pots (4), 6 Super Anti Poison Pots, bring a few Terrorbird Pouchs, around 100 tirelessrun scrolls and fill the rest of the inventory with food. When it comes to the fight, go to the bank, restock on a few prayer pots, ranged pots and bring casual ranged gear. Then use the sigil, own the Jungle Demons and you are done.

I haven't done the quest in years, so my memory may be fuzzy.

I would do a sample inventory, but I am in the middle of a waterfiends trip.

Sorry I have no idea on the quest but just a precaution that a wholepost cant be made in a certain colour and it has to be original size.

If the original size of your text is too low, hold CTRL and use the scroll circle-thing on your mouse. Roll it up.

And if you have to change the background because you somehow cant read the default board colour - go to User Control Panel -> Board Prefrences

I used monk robes all the way (ok full d'hide on the boss) , it helps save energy (you have to run a lot).

For the last boss just magic protect and safe stop his melee attacks (its very easy).

IMO the hardest bit is the damn puzzle at the start.

[hide=Drops]

  • Dragon Axe x11
    Berserker Ring x9
    Warrior Ring x8
    Seercull
    Dragon Med
Dragon Boots x4 - all less then 30 kc
    Godsword Shard (bandos)
    Granite Maul x 3

Solo only - doesn't include barrows[/hide][hide=Stats]

A simple sliding puzzle isn't hard, come on. IMO the hardest bit was the falling rocks and the [bleep]e traps in the monkey tunnel, with the jail following up.

You're being watched.

OK finally got it. I'm using IE 7.0 and I tried the CTRL scroll-circle thing. Didnt work with the forums, so I went into Windows to change the font size. I made the background black and that helps a lot! Thanks.

Anti poisons and Glories! What I did was, teleport to el carad (sp) then take the gnome glider back and over. If you're dying of poison though, edgeville is a better choice. I also might suggest doing the quest on the agility world of 46, there's a lot of people there, who might be willing to help a fellow out. The final boss, the key is to let him get killed by the gnomes then swoop in for the final shot.
