Not only would the developer have to model every single piece of clothing in the game, he would then have to update the software every time when Jagex releases new clothes or armor (which is about once a month :P ). And that's just the outline of how the program would work; that's not even including the actual programming. which, if done by one individual, would probably take years. If it was done in Flash, with 2d, hand-drawn sprites, it might take less time. It woul'dlook RuneScape-ish, though. I'm 100% free-to-play!!! Thanks for the link. This could actually be accomplished quite easily, but it would break Jagex rules, which is using there cache. Though that's a whole other debate because it's on YOUR computer, so why shouldn't you be able to use it?
