Pking has changed alot dont you think?

 

 

 

I was with out with Militos Deci the otherday out for a pk event. We were wondering up and down the far east near the sea up to members gate rush greaters and then out again and hop.

 

 

 

Now normally you would find someone there all the time. Whether a scout or just alone 120 fighting greaters. but Nothing. We tried about 5 worlds but nothing.

 

 

 

Another one of our spots was Dark knights fortress in the wilderness that was over to the west. These days its empty.. I wish we could have more fighting back over there. I enjoyed a good lure and pile +).

 

 

 

Hillys are same as always. Lots of clans ready to fight it out.

 

 

 

But its changed.

 

World 21 is headed up by the "big clans" the other worlds are barely populated with people.

Well, since most of the people are PKing in cities, naturally no one will PK in the Wilderness. It's good for natural PK Run Ins though.

I know they pk alot in cities but to much teleing for me..

 

Id rather just a big fight somewhere in the wilderness.

 

It works until a clan hops and you get owned.

Yeah, exactly. Most people fight in cities because of that safety barrier. The thing is, with the decrease in PK worlds, chances of getting demolished by a larger clan are much higher.

Well the thing is that with old wildy, you had to go to wildy to pk. Since we now have almost the whole world, it stands to reason that not as many people will go to wildy. Still, we have had some luck at greaters.

This was actually the norm before BH ever existed. Hills have always been the domain of teams/solo in my opinion.

isent greaters always been bigger atleast before old wild most smaller clans went there too....

No clan I know of goes to Hills.

Im talking small clans that most people could see as a group of friends that kinda thing

Well, in P2P it's more popular because of teleblock. Yes, but I do see a few clans going to hills anyway even though there is a large teleport risk.

We went there last trip and had quite a lot of luck. Even if you do not get kills, it is still so fun to try and clear it out. :thumbsup:

I would then recommend green drag luring. :thumbup:

Doesn't work amazingly well on new PvP due to level limits being alot larger (you can get specced out before even moving a screen away)

 

 

 

Plus alot of people will see as a lure aswell as not many green drag hunters use pvp worlds.

 

 

 

(Im assuming your talking of the player dressed as a green drag killer luring other players into multi where they get annihilated)

True, soloers and couple man teams are in cities now. Even 1 itemers don't go to wilderness that much. Falador is almost like an animal zoo, I can't describe that mess with a better word :S

 

 

 

Practically only clans and bigger teams go to wild and almost always with decent opts. I just hope it doesn't go into an "arms race" where we will end up only seeing rarely 200+ opts teams at high level wilderness battling it out, because less would get you killed for certain.

Yes pking is changed a lot.

 

 

 

It seems most of the time people stay nearby banks. So former pk spots that were popular are now empty if they aren't near a bank.

They shoulda left banks as free game, like the original pking was. 'Least it'd spice things up a bit.

What you mean as free game?

 

Just open spacely where you cant do anything in?

 

 

 

I think they need to add a limit in for the number of teleports like the trade update perhaps? every 15mins? Would work pretty well i think or maybe give a limit to how far away from a bank you have to be to teleport.
