  1. My friend, if you keep working up the ranks in Corr, you may understand why it's a very fitting name \ As to where the name came from, perhaps I can offer some insight. When we started Corr, we were made up of people who were generally considered the "evil" or "bad" side of Runescape (comparable to today's NH clans I suppose in some sense), so we wanted a name that sounded a bit, darker. Couldn't have anything too fluffy if we intended to be the bad guys
  2. I've got more of it done over on our site, somewhere. I haven't really had an opportunity to continue working on it because of being so busy with work/the holidays. I can't even work on it anymore while it's slow at my job, because they've decided to filter the internet sadly enough. I'm going to save it on to a file, and then work on it offline however. I'd really love to get it all done, it's quite the long piece of writing, and I give anyone who reads it a great deal of respect for even bothering to do so!
  3. I haven't quite read all of it, but I intend to do so. That being said, I read the part about peoples minds thinking "because we're RSD". That's an attitude I'm glad I've really never had to deal with in Corruption. RSD has always been like that as far as I can remember. It's inevitable that such a problem will catch up to a clan.
  4. I think somebody will drop out of the #1 contendership. One of the big 3 will stumble a bit, but I don't want to say which one I think. I have my reasons though.
  5. Yeah, MK is long gone. I don't know if you remember Corruption, but we basically killed MK. With a little help from Yamataka (if you remember her) killing the clan from within. I don't think there's too many people left from MK. I didn't remember you as the creator of MK, but now that I think about it I do remember your name a bit. I think MK died about a year, maybe two years ago. I'd assume a lot of their members are gone from RS now, as they weren't the most active clan toward their death. The MK you created, and the MK I helped kill were two very, very different clans. I had a lot of respect for the old MK, but that clan completely changed. You probably have no idea who I am, but I was leading Corruption while all this was going on, and helping lead the RS Mob on the side as well.
  6. I'm not sure how many old-school members are left in Gladz or RSD. Probably more in RSD then Gladz, but that's just a guess. I'd say just look through their members lists, and see if you recognize a few names.
  7. We sort of had a feud with TMRD, it never really developed due to their lack of pking (this was a couple years ago). I suppose we had a decent feud with Jagz for awhile around when we official warred them the second time (and won, eaaaat ittttttttt). We had a few secondary smaller fights after that, but they were usually on decent (albeit competitive) terms. We've always had some sort of feud with The Alliance clans. For obvious reasons, of course. It's really died down a lot in the past couple years, but that's for two reasons. One obviously being that they've declined in power, were as we've risen. Secondly I think there has developed a quiet respect for one another because of the age of both clans. We've never exactly "shared members" (not many of ours leave to join TA clans, vice versa) so I think that really helps improve relations over a long period of time.
  8. bk vs gladz is a storied rivalry, there is no doubt there. Problem is, you folks never seem to fight it out. Some of my favourite rivalries with Corruption... -Rune Raiders -EoS (constant off-and-on) -MK (RIP...oh no wait. Don't rest in peace. Eat it MK.) -Anarchy (same as above) etc.
  9. didn't know they even had those. Suppose that'll happen when you dont play though
  10. Haha, no, I don't play Tribal Wars. I didn't like it, if I wanted to play a strategy game, I'd probably go and play one of the "Total War" genre. Those are some fun games. Funny story about this tip it name though. I only made it as a joke really, just so I could keep up-to-date on the boards. I got the account "Pure_Knights" or something along those lines banned, a long time ago. Then they said it was unbanned, but that never happened. So I just stick with this name.
  11. Blacknights is atleast acceptable due to the time at which they were created. Not the best name, but it's certainly "their" name. I've actually never been too fond of Divine Forces either though. As much as I do dislike the clan itself, I dislike the name because I think it takes two generic terms and slaps them together for a generic name. Divine has been done so many times, so has Forces. It's actually kind of reminiscent of Mystic Knights. Two terms that were greatly overused and then slapped together. Now that I think about it, there's a lot of names I don't like. I must be a cruel bastard.
  12. As far as I know, they'll let us get off on a bit of a tangent, such as this. I fail to see how it's doing any harm here anyhow, we're just adding posts to the community, which should be something they're looking for. I say it's surprising to see you around because I haven't seen you posting anywhere. Good to know you still harass Jagz over on their boards, I still do the same for Corr too. On the subject of Chronic & XDX though, their clan is actually relevant to this discussion. The name they have for it is "Intent 2 Kill" and it's some crashing clan. Just another stab by Chronic trying to start something, maybe he's trying to be the next Raimus, start a new clan with the same band of idiots that keep failing? With a name like Intent 2 Kill, I think it's destined for failure anyway. Funny thing is, I think XDX got kicked out or something. I was going to go over to their boards and say Hello to him, then I saw that his Rank on their forum was "Banned". Guess him and Chronic had a little tiff, haha. As much as people hate him, XDX is still better then that. I don't think he would stoop to the levels Chronic would/has. I saw Raimus was on their member list too actually. Funny. I wonder which Raimus it is.
  13. I didn't really care about that joke, didn't bother me that much. Riled up a lot of folks though, that's for sure.
  14. I've always relished the role of playing the villain. Somebody had to do it, so I did. It's not quite the same, as the lines of "good" vs "evil" have really changed a lot over time, but it was always fun. Plus, I like being in charge. I can follow orders fine, but I've never really been a member of a clan, aside from the RS Mob.
  15. They might take me to that jail near Draynor, where all those guards wear leather "armour". I'm surprised to see you still around Lucca, moreso then seeing Shakazulu around. Actually I don't know, both are pretty unexpected. It's rare when you see a fossil come out of the Museum. I'll bash Anarchy all I please thank-you very much. After all, I certainly did help do the clan world a favour by aiding in their downfall \ But I'm not sure I see this argument you state. In fact, according to a poll over on Zybez, sounds to me like most people like the name The Corruption  To be fair, that probably has more to do with our place in the clan-world rather then the name itself, since when RSD and DI were at the top, people were infatuated with their names as well. I think the name is relevant though, as there is really a lot of Corruption in The Corruption. I once even took a bribe from XhitpointzX to make him a Leader at one point in time, haha. Faking reasons to kick people, and just overall not running a democracy, sounds pretty Corrupt to me. That's why I like the name (aside from the fact that I thought it up). Atleast we aren't some cat, cuz hey, we all know what cats are ;) All this back-and-forthness reminds me of the old days, and how I miss them so dearly haha. you guys. Come back and rebuild The Alliance so we can fight some more
  16. did you know that jaguar rhymes with something along the lines of [bleep]wire? I'm just sayin........ I always thought Anarchy was a stupid name. Why is it Anarchy, when there are ranks and applications, etc? At the very best, it should have been called Dictatorship, or Communism. That probably would have made them less terrible too.
  17. pffft, silly politics of The Alliance. The Golden Alliance was the way to go \
  18. hey willy, good to see you're still around. you should come drop by the boards, see if there's anybody you recognize there. www.corruption-clan.com/forum i'm not sure you'll know anybody left, but you might.
  19. RSC wars you could have a few very experienced individuals, and could dominate because of that. I know early on with Cor I did an awful lot of killing, because I was basically in the wilderness whenever I was on RS.
  20. Well now, that's a pretty one sided fight. You guys really must have had them right from the get-go. Did you outlevel them badly or something?
  21. There was piling years ago, yeah. But not in the same fashion, you certainly never had 30, 40, 50+ people attacking you at once. You're probably right about a lot of clans not knowing the basics of pking, but hey, that was no different in classic either. The biggest difference between then and now, is that one person has a much, much greater time effecting the outcome of the combat. One guy who was level 100 in classic could dominate some wars, that doesnt happen now. Which is too bad in some ways. But I suppose we're getting a bit off topic, haha.
  22. It's pretty much entirely to do with the Censor. I know in our chat we send a lot of links back and forth, to our boards, to other forums, to anything really. You can't just copy & paste links into the Runescape chat, you have to evade the censor to do so. Plus, most normal people aren't too offended by swearing, so there's no filter in our chat, where as Runescape's chat will constrict what you are allowed to say. So yes, the use of secondary communication tools outside of Runescape is very common amongst nearly every clan (that isn't run off the RS Official Board) MSN is really just more of a way of communicating and keeping up with your clan if you aren't on the game, or can't get into the IRC or whatever. People also "spam" msn to communicate events to clan members quickly (very annoying I might add)
  23. Osiris Bk, that's it. I think I might have talked to you in game once, probably when I was with Greywanderer. He used to come visit me when I was training at the Hob Gob Mine. In fact, that may have been where I talked to you, because you used to train there too I think? Then again, who didn't train there, haha
  24. As for that, look at mine. Just because I didn't join this particular site fast enough doesn't exactly make me new. I've got more in game experience on the game we're talking about, RuneScape, maybe you've heard of it. Always good to hear from someone who played classic, there's still quite a few of us kicking around. And the finer aspects to pking, like doing what you spoke of, really has died. Small teams aren't nearly as effective, for obvious reason. Overall the clan world is far more intelligent as far as combat goes. Concepts like "piling" didn't even exist in classic, when they very well could have, and could have been super effective too.
  25. They shoulda left banks as free game, like the original pking was. 'Least it'd spice things up a bit.
