Featured Replies

So, Best creature to grab some Gold charms quickly?

Not interested in Crimson, as I already have a good supplier for them..

Just Gold please

Fire Giants. No idea why you would ever hunt for Gold charms though.

Coz its all I can use at the moment, and I'm trying to follow Kents guide, in which case I need golds to continue, saving my better Charms for when they become more efficient.

At least thats the hope, not much experience with summoning >_<

The only charms really worth storing up are blues.

Greens/golds give rubbish XP compared to blues/crimsons so use these whenever.

Crimsons give good XP and are quite common so use these whenever too. Only thing I will say is use golds/greens first if you can before using these, but they are still common enough to use whenever.

Blues are rare and give great XP therefore save these as long as you can.

I wouldn't bother hunting for any charms other than crimsons outside of slayer. If you must get golds, Hellhounds are the best dropper per kill but Fire Giants are a little easier to kill. If you can get crimsons easy enough then get those.

If you're going to stop farming reds to farm golds, then the idea behind storing them up kinda breaks down, you might as well just farm reds since it's faster xp even at lower levels o_O

anyway, try ice warriors / fire giants / the big rock crab thingies with burst.

Hellhounds drop a gold charm almost every kill. ::'

I'm guessing you never read the guide fully.

NEVER hunt for Gold/Green/ or Blue charms!

Also training via slayer gets you a nice selection of charms. I'm 80 summoning (85 banked) and it's all through slayer.
