Well I was wondering if you guys could rate these sigs I made.

The first one if the first time I tried making this type of sig. The second sig is the one I just made, although I rushed through it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1 - 10, 10 being the best.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yey for ugly ripped images! Honestly, the images = -10. Just ditch them, the second one has a nice abstract, but the image ruins it. :wink:

god damn, [bleep] off godslayer. stop complaining about people using renders. your friggin flaming every person who uses them. it should say under your name 1000 some complaining points instead of 1000 some posts. everyone knows where you stand on renders now, so stfu and stop flaming. by the way hot heat, i like the second one 8/10, but i dont really like the 1st cause im not a fan of anime. 4/19. and the grid style is pretty cool on both.

I give bouth 4/10. To me there is not enough contrast in both sigs, its just all blue in blue and to much noisy parts. At a first glance your first sig looks like there are the classical gif palette artefacts. Add some antialiasing to the second sig, especially the font.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And generally, I am no big fan of sigs using renders, and the abstract part is mostly too abstract for me :lol:

this has been made by hand in 2 mins. Photoshop has automated ways to calculate it ( another way to AA borders of a "crisp" level, is to use a soft brush as your rubber tool, and brush far from the border...a bit of the faded surroundings of the rubber brush will smooth your borders...)

They look good for first sigs, but try not to use copyrighted images as the focus of the sig. Be creative and make a way for them to look good without someone else's work.

The second one: all you did was paste a pic on top off everything. Doesn't really blend in with the pic. Keep at it though.

At the beggining i used to find them cool and all, but now i try to make my sigs all by myself (they don`t look great at all, i know) but i'm getting better and better, and maybe one day i'll be as good as other people :wink:

Well thanks for the comments, but I still don't see the wrong in this situation about renders in a sig. Yes they may be copyrighted but as long as you are not making any REAL LIFE gain from it. I don't really see anything wrong.

If you look at my sig theres 2 renders, no problem whit that? I recuested those so the maker will not have to be flamed... :roll:
