I would say not bad, but it's just the same as drawing with a pencil on paper? Yes?

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

Fantastic first tablet drawing. I found it really tricky to start off with.

I would use a smaller brush size.

but it's just the same as drawing with a pencil on paper? Yes?

No, it isn't I know people that use them and they say it feels completly different.

OT: I love it, great job on the hair, the only you need to work on would be the shape of the chin.

Very good for a first. Just a few things, the lines on her face need to be a bit smoother, and her face is slightly too wide.

Correct. I was very much a pencil and paper guy before I got my tablet. It's just so much different... mainly that you have to look at the screen when you draw instead of the paper.

My aplogies, xxbamxx :? I did not know.

So I can now say...

Wow! That is awesome for a first time!

Just some C/C. The biggest part of it that you should work on is proportions, in my opinion.

-Nose is too big for the face and is also too flat. You would have to add more shading to fix the nose, or draw her at an angle.

-Hand is way too small compared to the rest of the body. In my opinion, I would remove the hand completely and just have it resting at her side, off the page.

-Fix up the outline.

-Nice attempt at hair, but maybe you should look at more tutorials for it.

-Add some ears in that mess of hair.

-Sides of the face lack definition

I would suggest drawing from references before attempting to freehand which I am assuming is what you did ( forgive me if I'm wrong ). It isn't terrible, but there is plenty to improve on. Hope this helps.

Linework credit goes to someone else who's name escapes me...

I took some advice, but learned i need to improve on my shading.

Pencil strokes seem a bit wide aswell, anyone have an exact prefrence they use?

I don't think i have it at a good setting.

But here is my second attempt at a drawing, some more Cn'C would help alot.

Thank you..

Seems as if the anatomy is off on both, though they are still pretty good :D

the eyes look like they're halfway down her nose. I might be seeing things #-o

I agree, the eyes are a bit too far down. The anantomy needs a bit of work, but other than that

Add some colour.

^ I agree. Dull earth colours would look good if you are talking about the 3rd piece.
