November 30, 200817 yr I need help with Windows Media player :( it will not play my dvds! When i put a DVD into my computer and windows media player pops up, it always gives me an error message saying to lower my screen resolution. I have tried to update Media player, get drivers, codecs etc etc, but nothing will work! November 30, 200817 yr Have you tried lowering your screen resolution...? Or you could download VLC media player, it's a great free program.
