How should I approach 65 herblore (to do While Guthix Sleeps)? I'll be growing a lot of herbs viz farming routes, but I doubt it will be enough for 65 (I just got 60).

 

 

 

Also, I just found out I can wear Avantoe Gloves. Would they be worth the time to get? They make all herb drops a 50% chance of avantoe...

 

 

 

Are herbs still impossible to buy on the grand exchange?

I suggest killing abberent spectres, you can pray on them if you want and youll end up getting more rannars back than you used on prayer potions + a bunch of high level herbs/seeds. If you dont want to use any prayer potions you can prayer flash them, doing this you could get a full inventory and still have prayer points to spare.

Avantoe gloves are bad, because half the herbs you get are probably worth more than the avantoes, so you don't want that. The only herb gloves worth wearing are Kwuarm gloves.

 

 

 

I doubt it's impossible to buy all herbs. Try unfinished potions too, if you can't get the herb. If you want to gather herbs yourself, then the fastest herb droppers are aberrant spectres with a cannon in the desert slayer dungeon, or chaos druids, preferably in the Yanille agility dungeon with 82 thieving for the lockpick shortcut.

What i did to get 58-64 herb was make prayer pots. I spent a little over 2m doing that tho. No other herbs were selling besides ranarrs :(. And you just need level 64 and then go get a greenmans ale from yanille bar then you can start quest.

Try to buy ranarr's in the GE while farming toadflax and marigolds for profit. Prayer pots are a good idea though so try to buy ranarr's and/or unf ranarr's.

yeah i used to do yanille dungeon but now its all about abberant specters also i do dagganoths for herb seeds and farming
