Ouchy
What age is this aimed at? I wouldn't be caught dead wearing it. My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

DementedHero
You don't know how to shade in Illustrator? You started it on the bubbles. Highlight is the same idea as shading. Just draw shapes where you want the shadow, don't use too many shades, I'd say either 1 or 2 for the shading, the more colours, the more expensive it'll be to produce. How do I read the text? Reewk? Rekew? Would you wear this, in all honesty? As Ouchy said, what's your target group? Cute can be good, but this is, in my honest and perhaps blunt opinion, quite childish. Work on it some more, refine refine refine. It's a bit sloppy at the moment. The bubbles are all perfect, and highlighted the same way. Copy-pasted and rotated. Get some variation in there. Designing shirts is awesome, but you should really ask yourself before producing something if people will actually wear it. Perhaps send it to some people in your target audience, see what they think, if they don't like it, you're doing something wrong. Either you have the wrong targetgroup for your designs, or you have the wrong designs for your targetgroup.
ThruItAll
I wouldn't wear this, because it says kweer, aka queer. danke Schon Sam!^^"Blood runs thicker, oh were thick as thieves you know"-Carl Barât
ipkjooo
I probably wouldn't wear it, its aimed for 14-15yr olds. The kids who have seen it have liked it, but yeah.... Im mostly doing this to just get a feel for illustrator and that. As for shading, I tried doing it like I did the bubbles, but it would always look really choppy, so I removed it. The bubbles spell Kweer..... I didn't come up with it... I don't know what they were thinking when they did. -.- Yeah, so thanks for the replies. And for the record, I wouldn't wear it
mister_moocky
Not trying to sound offencive, but if you, the err artist, doesn't like it, you probably shouldn't be posting it. Pride in your work is important. quit
venomai
Not trying to sound offencive, but if you, the err artist, doesn't like it, you probably shouldn't be posting it. Pride in your work is important. He said that he wouldn't wear it, not that he doesn't like it. An artist doesn't always need to like the designs they make -- it's usually more important that the target audience to like the designs. Pride in a work of art isn't important so long as you realize your mistakes and move forward. Realizing and understanding my own faults is what motivates me to improve on them. :)
Nadril
Also, sometimes an artist does have to swallow a bit of pride if it is what the customer wants. Granted they may not actually know whats best, but they're the ones who are paying the money. :) From what I understand this shirt design is actually for some children? It's an ok layout, the whale really needs to be shaded in the same way the highlights are done. The text is also horribly illegible although I'm not sure how you would want to fix that.
