Fletching In F2P!

Now, before you flame me, read the whole post, then flame me :)

The main reason i thought about this is, melee-ers (is that a real word) can make their own weapons. Mages can make their own runes. But rangers.... what about rangers? Only P2P rangers can make their weapons!

There is supposed to be balance between the 'classes' but i think the balance is off a bit there.....

hmm good point, but it wont happen thats becaus jagex hates archers jk

But seriously it wont , p2p would be to mad.

nice..i hadnt thought of that...but they wont bring it out in f2p as rs are trying to get ppl to be members by bringing out member skills and not f2p. but good thought tho

to be honesti woul be less suprised if they made runecrafting and smithin p2p.

Mages can make their own runes.

no, F2P mages can make only elemental runes, and a self-respecting mage would use fire blast, and it is impossible (even for P2P mages) to make deaths, and rangers get their arrows back.

it is WAAAY more expensive to use maging than to range.

and about smithing, the only way, and i mean the ONLY way, to get to smithing rune by buying your bars/ores and smithing them into stuff, without losing LARGE amounts of money (and i thought non combat skills were ment to earn money), is by making cannon balls, and guess what, thats P2P.

havent you been watching? members CAN make death runes in the abyss, blood to.

I'm personally fine as it is. Arrows aren't expensive at all, for an f2per. The reason why there's RC and Smithing for F2P is because those two classes are much more expensive.

Same question to you sweethart

Try to go true the death or blood or soul rift and you get a nice message that its blocked, to you sir, dont say anything before you KNOW the facts

havent you been watching? members CAN make death runes in the abyss, blood to.

No, you CAN't..

omg how would i make money if smithing was p2p guess i would have to become a member!!!! omg dont give them ideas!!!!

That is a very good point.

thats a very good point you make, but f2p runecrafting can't even make chaos, which would conpletely eliminate anything with f2p mage pk'ers, and that making rune armor and weapons is an extremely high level which the majority of f2p wouldnt be able to do

Mmmmmm yes good point, very good point, excellent point, it would essentially balance the triangle eternally, Runescape would reach perfection! Hackers and scammers would see the light and become normal, kind citizens. Merchants would lay down there market contolling ways and enjoy the simple joys of fletching, yes surely making f2p have access to this skill will enhance the game!

Oh waiiiiiiiit NO.

Wow...that is a good point. After seeing countless FLETCHING SHOULD BE FREE FOR F2P posts this is the only one I've seen with adequate reasoning and only in a few sentences :P Yes I agree with you but unfortunately it is one of the incentives to become a member so JAGeX probably won't change it I'm afraid. :(

Being f2p myself.. i dun see fletching should be f2p.... well good suggestions aniway...

First of all, there are many different kinds of npc that drops arrows..

giants.. moss giants.. steel arrows are also available @ 12gp per.

Anyway, f2p is just like a trial gameware for new gamers to play and if they like it and wanna enjoy more stuff.. pay for it.. simple.

Many online games are like that too.. first they come out with beta edition.. and once the game bugs and problems are eliminated.. they start to charge..

Cheer up.. besides.. u can make friends with members and perhaps they could help you fletch..

who do not want free fletching experiences.. juz pass them the materials (bars, logs and feathers).. calculate abit. and exchange..

benefit both realm of players.. :D

It's a good idea, but arrows cost a few gp, while an black full helm is more then 1000 sometimes

Thank you mod for adding that little starter to my post.

havent you been watching? members CAN make death runes in the abyss, blood to.

woops!  no i havent been watching, im an F2P so i havent really been interested in updates and stuff. i do read them, but i didnt know you (that is, members) can now make more runes. srry people.
