ok so i bought a rune crossbow and i was wondering what kind of bolt should i get i have 330k left over and i want to get a reasonable amount of bolts but i would also like the best i can buy with a lot of em if that just made sense.

If you do not, mithril (buy some enchanted, some not, and switch, if you're killing something big like dragons).

planned on killing a lvl 149 dude and i dont have 55 slayer

Then buy say 100 mithril bolts (e), and use them to poison him. Once the poison takes ahold, switch to regular mithril.

 

 

 

Ademantite would be much better to be fair, but i don't think your budjet allows for very many to make it worthwhile.

Not really really slow unless you're on longranged or something. Just seems slower because you're used to regular bow / knives, which are very fast. Crossbows are kinda middle speed, but vair powerful.

haha.. i think its cos im too used to my whip.

c'bows are slower, but they hit a lot harder.

 

Plus you can use a shield which is great for praying or tanking.

Remember there's also the ruby tipped addy bolts, which will also help maximize your hits while sapping your own HP.

you dont hit 18 with addy arrows unless your using prayer and potted which i doubt you could even with the bonuses

i realy dont consider it all that costly i mean im poor and each time i go out i spend 100k on prayer pots but i also need em if theres no hiding place. and they do a good job

I hit 22 with broad bolts last time I checked, 78 range broad bolts.

that seems kinda easy cause slayer to 18 was really fast. i didnt even finish my slayer task

not to mention the ranging potions dont buy at max price and the super restores do
