December 13, 200817 yr somebody said that range gets more exp then str.. is this true? like does range get more then 4 exp per 1 dmg ?
December 13, 200817 yr Author is it even possible for range to get more exp per hour if I melee and kill faster then them ranging?
December 13, 200817 yr I mean ppl ranging at yak now that is a different question range may beat melee due to faster hitting
December 13, 200817 yr Author so if I melee killing faster then them ranging, they cannot gain more exp then me rite loL kinda dumb question
December 13, 200817 yr Range would only be faster on yaks if their range lvl was higher than your str/atk. We should add side skills, such as runecrafting and that would make arenascape addicting! Is He Insane? :wall: ARENAscape Levels: 163 & 162-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------RuneScape Levels: Main Acc(123) - Zerker Pure(87) - Pure Str(50) To Join My Lvl 80+ Clan, Click Here! December 13, 200817 yr Depends on levels. I get more ranged xp per hour than melee skills because my melees are low 70s and my ranged is nearly 90 OH S***! He/she/it is back!

December 13, 200817 yr No, it doesn't, it's the same. Certain monsters yield more xp than 4/hit too. 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]
December 13, 200817 yr Please stop spamming questions that you know the answer to. And if you dont know the answer to them, PUT THEM IN ONE POST. How about you take your own advise and stop spamming threads that you have nothing to contribute to. Now I see how you have 3.4k posts, pure spam. ......... Anyways, I am pretty sure that you can get more melee exp than ranged if they were the same level or even if your melees were slightly lower. Its all about where you train. Certain things are weaker to melee than range, and the time it takes for you to get situated in a safe spot (IF you have too) can also reduce your range exp/hour. A good rule of thumb to have is pretty much, if you can kill it faster with melee, 9 times out of 10, you will be getting more melee exp than ranged. (There are some outliers like Yaks since I believe running from Yak to Yak makes for slower melee exp, whereas you can just stand in one spot with range) Apparently, my signature was to big.
December 13, 200817 yr Yeah, tard. Thanks for reading the other threads I've posted in today. I dont need a siggy no moar.

December 13, 200817 yr People like Ultimat deserve it. One who calls all my posts pure spam and doesnt even know im 14 when I say it every 50 posts or so is just too ignorant. Anyway, to the op again, noone mentioned that Pest control is only 2xp per damage. Keep in mind. Oh and, cant say its pointless spam anymore :) I dont need a siggy no moar.

December 13, 200817 yr Why the [bleep] are you asking me? Ask ultimat. He brang age up cause thats the best he can do. I dont need a siggy no moar.
December 13, 200817 yr I think that you in general need a higher ranged level than melee level to get the same amount of xp in the same amount of time. But there are of course variations on this. I have never tried yaks for myself, but I think that there is a rather big chance that you can get faster xp by ranging them than training with melee at them. Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak
December 13, 200817 yr Why the [bleep] are you asking me? Ask ultimat. He brang age up cause thats the best he can do. He never mentioned age . . . he said that he had seen about 17 SPAM POSTS by you today. I have too. It's annoying. How about instead of bashing the OP, you just ANSWER THE QUESTION? You know, like we're supposed to do in this forum? Yes, he ought to condense them into one post, but that doesn't mean you have to take time to bash him over the head for it on every single post he ever makes, ever. Honestly, I remember you bashing him for the same thing multiple weeks ago. Lay off already. And to the OP, range gains 4 exp per hit. Any attack style gains 4 exp per hit to the specific skill, except for controlled which splits that same 4 exp among attack, strength and defense, resulting in 1.33 exp for each. This means that unless the melee-er is using a controlled attack style, whomever happens to be killing monsters FASTER is gaining more experience. If a monster has 10 hit points and I kill 1000 of them an hour with a melee attack style, that's 10,000 experience to attack. If I used range, I might only kill 500, which will give me 5,000 experience in ranged. Got it? Ranged attacks faster than melee, especially with knives, but it can't hit nearly as high as a melee-er with a whip can. Hence, it depends a lot on the levels of the competing people.
