leoben Posted December 21, 2008 Share Posted December 21, 2008 I am f2p but from what I understand the main way to make money from avianses is adamant bars and the ROW lowers the adamant bar drops and raises the rune drops so archer. Just gotta make sure you're paying enough attention and not attacking a spiritual mage or something... Not sure what kind of improved chances you got with wealth... i'd probably bring archer, but i don't know. I bring a wealth now cause I haven't bought an archer ring yet. Penguinisme Posted December 28, 2008 Share Posted December 28, 2008 First, I will clearly state what they do. Wealth: Increases rare drop chance. Archer: More range bonus. The main moneymaker at Aviansies is the adamant bar drop, which is NOT a rare drop. Therefore, wearing a Wealth will not affect the drop rate. An Archer ring costs 2M currently, and gives range bonus. To many people, risking 2M is a lot. In my opinion, I would rather take a Ring of Life, but I think that an Archer is better, due to the increased speed of kills, making for more adamant bar drops. The effect is completely intangible that you would never notice the difference between wearing one and not wearing it - even if you camped at a monster with good drops because it could have given you the same drops even without the ring.
