December 26, 200817 yr Nothing Wealth will probably lower drops, from the above. An archer's ring is too much to risk tbh. Thoroughly retired, may still write now and again
December 28, 200817 yr Risk? At aviansies? I'd say you're pretty safe as long as you have a sara, zam, and armadyl item when youre entering the dungeon. Just gotta make sure you're paying enough attention and not attacking a spiritual mage or something... Not sure what kind of improved chances you got with wealth... i'd probably bring archer, but i don't know. I bring a wealth now cause I haven't bought an archer ring yet.
December 28, 200817 yr First, I will clearly state what they do. Wealth: Increases rare drop chance. Archer: More range bonus. The main moneymaker at Aviansies is the adamant bar drop, which is NOT a rare drop. Therefore, wearing a Wealth will not affect the drop rate. An Archer ring costs 2M currently, and gives range bonus. To many people, risking 2M is a lot. In my opinion, I would rather take a Ring of Life, but I think that an Archer is better, due to the increased speed of kills, making for more adamant bar drops. I will now drizzle rage dressing onto the salad of fury!
December 28, 200817 yr Personally, I despise then RoW. The effect is completely intangible that you would never notice the difference between wearing one and not wearing it - even if you camped at a monster with good drops because it could have given you the same drops even without the ring. Fate laughs at probability.
