December 23, 200817 yr To put it simply I can't make construction tea. I have tried using the kettle and cup on my sink, and it shows the water animation but in the chat box it says "nothing interesting happens", and I can't put the kettle on the range. I have tried putting the tea leaves in the kettle first, and that works, but I still can't add water to the kettle after that, I just get teh same message. Am I missing something? Is this a bug? Do I need to be in building mode (I think I tried this fist, then wen't to normal mode)? I have 55 con, 70 something cooking, and the best larder, range, and sink you can get, and porcelin kettle stuff (I tried it with the one lower down too and that didn't work either).
December 23, 200817 yr Kettle with water -> Stove (the stove has to be 2nd stove or higher i think) Tea -> teapot Kettle -> teapot Teapot (4) -> teacup? And normal clay cups = 1 level Porcelein* = 2 levels Gilded = 3 levels. Also, a kettle is made of IRON/STEEL, its the grey thing, not the white teapot; which needs kettled boiling water and tea in it. I dont need a siggy no moar.
December 23, 200817 yr Fill kettle with water. Use with range. Use tea leaves on a teapot. Pick kettle off range, Use (steaming hot) kettle with teapot. Then use with a cup + add milk as your preference desires. That what you did?
December 23, 200817 yr Fill the kettle with water and put it on the fire to boil. Put the tea leaves in the teapot. When you see the message that the kettle has boiled, take it off the stove. Pour boiling water from the kettle into the teapot (makes four servings). Pour it into cups. Add milk if desired. December 23, 200817 yr The whole idea of a forum is so people can learn from others not just for one guy to get the answer to their question and move on! most people are too lazy to even use the search bar or the tip.it database so they just ask questions anyways
