Im going to use my X-Mas cash for 1 PSP game, and which should it be?

I stopped buying PSP games, because most of them sucked. But Lego Star Wars 2 is good.

God of War is fairly short but pretty jam packed with action

 

Final Fantasy Crisis Core is good

 

Disgaea can run you 100+ hours easily

I guess you don't have a hacked psp, no matter. I'd go with disgaea:afternoon of darkness or final fantasy 7: crisis core, both of them last plenty of hours. GOW is like 3-5 hours of work and it's only replay value is mainly to clear the 4 difficulties(which is hard but repetitive).

Like these two said, Crisis Core was amazing. Like others also said, God of War was also immensely awesome. Let's see...Final Fantasy Tactics War of the Lions was cool, MoHH2 was great...

 

 

 

I'm currently playing Dissidia: Final Fantasy, which I imported and am playing on my PSP. As a reat for yourself, if you already haven't, I'd hack it so you can expand your horizons.

Unless I'm just making a mistake, wikipedia says otherwise. Also places like IGN and stuff. It will be fine. Besides, where are your sources for what the devs say? :P

 

 

 

Anyway, I came back because I thought of another game to get (I got a PSP-3000 today, and it came with the voucher for the game) and I recommend it: Echochrome. I don't think it's a UMD or anything, as I got it from the wireless store...But it's amazing. And it's on the PlayStation Network.

Didn't personally like god of war very much. The graphics are psp's best I think, and there weren't any glitches, but it has little replay value after you've played it once. The best boss is in the first city, after which the game repeats itself over and over again, all of the fights are about the same. One of the good things was that the game wasn't too long.

 

 

 

I'd go for some classic game collection, those games may be addictive but isn't that the point? GOW isn't.

Things? Resident Evil 5 looks superficially similar to Resi 4; what's been improved here?

 

 

 

Kawata: First of all, and quite obviously, the graphics. Even the title screen of this couldn't have been done on PS2 or Wii. Online co-op as well; the number of enemies you can have on-screen at one time; destructible scenery, physics - we're using Havok this time. We can do more complex stuff with AI; the concern I had in the very beginning is that sometimes an AI partner can become very frustrating. Now she handles fine and you can play through the game without her becoming a frustration. When you see the new stuff you'll say "Oh my God, I can do this and this and this", but you'll probably get used to it quite quickly and then get into the story.

For PSP it really depends on what you like; theres alot of racing games and a few FPS' etc

Well i got a PSP for x-mas with 4 games so i may help you (1 game was in the package , 2 i got from a promotion and 1 I bought)

Ratchet & Clank : Size Matters

 

 

 

Well this must be one of my favourites :P , If you like classics , then go for this one

 

The controlls work very well and the "story" is pretty funny lol

 

Ratchet is your main character you play on while Clank is on the back of Ratchet and aids him when Ratchet needs him (eg. clank becomes a helicopter)

 

Also the weapons are very funny , my favourite is the stink bomb :P (i can smell it out of my psp :o)

 

 

 

So you are looking for fun , enjoyable games ? this is the way to go.

The GFX from this game are redicoulous good for the psp , the camera perspective is pwngge and storyline couldn't be better.

 

What i like about this games are the bosses , how you have to attack them using your awesome moves to make it weaker while taking them down using a combination you see on the screen .

 

Sometimes it can be hard (not for me) to get to another place but once you discover how the system works , it all gets more fun.

 

I also like the cutscenes while I pissed that it ends (i read here?) after 4 hours (i've got other games to play also so , hey)

I like the new modes and the GFX are ownage , and so does the gameplay - it never felt that good playing FIFA for me .

I got all these games, and they're some of the best games for a psp imo, Ratchet and Clank's awesome

 

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is quite good too tbh.

I liked Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the blade...took me 23 and a half hours to beat.

 

Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops was good

 

All the syphon Filters were really good.

 

there was a killzone game I rented for it...liberation I think, that was spectacular.

 

GOW was alright, it was just too short for me...

I take back what I said about GOW, it's not the best game ever.

 

 

 

GO GET CRISIS CORE: FINAL FANTASY 7!!!!!!!!!! It's easily the BEST game I have ever gotten (for PSP at least) and I haven't even finished it. :-# :thumbup:

Crisis Core? Hell YES, ive put a good 57 Hours into that game :thumbsup:

 

Gow? Immense Fun, but really short

 

Ratchet & Clank : SIze Matters and Secret Agent Clank Are awesome

 

There are lots of good games for PSP, but the no.1 thing to do is get it hacked :thumbup:

I enjoyed the Untold Legends games.
