Slayer/PC outfit.

Well im well on my way to making some good money. I decided to range my way to 95 or 96 a aviansies meaning i would get ALOT of money. Well since i only have 25 slayer i would like to raise it alot after i get 95 or so ranged. I was thinking of using the money of buying a Slayer outfit i could later use to play PC too, to get 99ranged. Ive already decided on Bandos, Fury, DFS, Whip, Bandos Boots, Combat Bracelets, Berserker ring, Helm of Neit. Im having trouble deciding on the GS though. I was thinking AGS or BGS. Is AGS really worth that much more? If i have the money, what would be better? I would not mind spending 65MIL on a weapon, aslong as i know it would be worth it.

 

 

 

Im also looking into Boss Hunting soon as i get all my Melee levels 95+.

tbh none of the godsword are really worth it for training, sgs is ok but its spec doesnt always hit and and its usually not enough alone so whats the point? whip and a defender has been proven to be the best wep for training. so i would get that and a bunyip, bunyip is usually enough for almost all tasks esp with that armor.

if you have the spare cash, get sgs. also, use black mask instead of netzinot. work on recipie for disaster so you can get barrows gloves.

you could use bronze knifes and range in pc because thats what your training

if its just pc stick with whip and rune defender[you should probably use a defender for slayer too] i mean its pretty meaningless to spend 60m+ on an ags just to play pest control.

Was actually thinking of meleeing in PC. extra melee exp :P ill get ranged exp using points.

I would save the money and just go with whip + defender over gs for pc. But once you start slaying deffently go with sgs.

Yes, but the strength bonus of the dragon boots outweighs the defence bonuses of the bandos boots. Defence is pretty pointless, especially if it's 1 or 2 stat points. Bandos boots are only really used when hunting Graar'dor. Barrows gloves would be very useful as well. Oh, and I'd sheepishly recommend getting Verac's Plateskirt instead of Bandos Tassets; it'll allow you to use stat-boosting prayers which should more than compensate for the tassets' +2 strength bonus.

Whoever says "SGS", it's not really worth it unless you have more than enough money to get it; which you do. So I guess you should.

And a DFS is useless unless fighting dragons. Runefenders own.

+1 to Ray's comment on Defenders. Unless you're fighting dragons, scrap the DFS and go pick up a rune defender. Yes, you have to work a bit to get it instead of buying it instantly with money, but its attack bonuses and strength bonus are much better than the Dragonfire Shield.
