FatherJack
...on F2P. That is the problem. After all I have my rune (Don't see the point of getting fancy coloured rune which has no combat advantage), it's not that much to buy xp, nor do I need any rare holiday item (which even if I did could not afford anyway) Just seems pointless to me sitting there growing... Kellis
Choose your favorite skill and invest it. I assume you've got the rune axe, rune boots, rune pick skilling tools already? If not, buy them. If so, decide whether you enjoy smithing, crafting, range, or magic more and spend it on training that skill. Or buy all your essence for runecrafting. In any case, skilling is pretty much the way to go.

Darksin68
You could try your hand at investing in the Grand Exchange. Rune pieces, food, runes, or treasure trail items (F2P ones : ) are all good. Just follow this link and it will put you at the website. PS, is it legal for me to post that link, or will the mods take it away? :S http://itemdb-rs.runescape.com/frontpage.ws Current Whip Drops: 9 Current D Boots drops:

FatherJack
First point: Roughly two coal and one iron = 500gp Do I sell the steel bar for a small profit? Or smith it for a loss? (I've got 56 smith) Second Point: Buying ess is overpriced especially when I have the setup to power RC (Wizard Tower - Mine Ess - Water Altar & Repeat) although I wonder if there is any benefit to RCing at all? Members can craft the useful runes whilst F2P can only craft Body runes, which I can't find a use for. Third point: What's the rewards of F2P Treasure Trails? I thought it was members only? TYVM for that link though. I think I'll probably just keep building up :) PS. Is it possible to change a plateskirt for legs without going on the GE? RayOxide
You make around 150gp per steel bar you make. Overall good cash. Dont smith it if you want pure cash. 50 RC in F2P still gives you the advantage of buying Pure ess in the RC guild, I think. (I'm probably wrong). So F2PowerRCing is pretty good, which is the method you are doing. There are no F2P treasure trails Maybe s/he means items you get from treasure trails can be f2p? I dont need a siggy no moar. I think he/she means merchanting the God Armours/Trimmed Stuff that is received from Treasure Trails. If you want to try that part out, PM me :) "It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man." -- Jack Handey
FatherJack
Yeah plus eventually it'll raise my smith. I could also mine gold till 70 Mining (65k away from 70) which yields a much higher profit. Getting into another guild might be a worthwhile challenge, as it's the only one I haven't got access to. Thirdly my merchanting skills aren't that impressive, so I can't see a huge profit from trading the fancy rune (Although if there is a way to change skirt into legs, I would do that. Isn't there a shop that used to allow you to change skirt into legs and vice versa?)

Getting that 65k XP will make you about 500k. "It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man." -- Jack Handey
