im 90 strength..20k from 91.. ive stopped strength/slayer training to level my sad range lv 52.. ive decided that im gonna need at least 80 range in the long run for dagonath kings and other stuff.. also easier and cheaper to kill those brnz dragon tasks.. i am 71 slayer 30k from 72 is it smart to take a break from slayer trainin for this 80 range or would it be better to just continue on with slayer and 99 str??

Slayer with a cannon and range range-able tasks while meleeing most on CONTROLLED with a Whip.

i cant really afford a cannon atm lol and with 52 range what tasks would i even be able to range

2) Power range to 70, then start Slayer again.

I would keep with 99 strenght goal, unless you need urgently range levels :?

well i dont really need it but i tend to get annoyed with brnz drg assignments and i never cancel an assignment. it blows spendin 60-80k on pray potions for em i only have about 6.3m all together..

Power to 70 range, you need black dragonhides for your tasks anyway.

i hate skippin em.. i always use em on death runes for cash instead of slayer helm and i really need slayer helm lol i got 120 tasks complete i could have easily gotten one by now the cash of death runes is to temptin when ur broke like me lol

I think you should at least get 70 range, not only for slayer and stuff but I honestly can't take anyone with 99 str seriously if their range is only 56 lol.

 

 

 

70 range is super easy, just buy a whole bunch of bronze arrows or knives and go kill things. Im sure there is a decent guide in the archive of wisdom. It will only delay 99 str for a couple of days and is well worth it. The black dhide alone is worth the level.

Screw it.

 

You dont NEED a cannon to train range via slayer.

 

And by reading that guide its obvious you dont.

 

Blend tanking range with safe ranging for more variety aswell.

 

Trust me. I have ranged every task since i returned to slayer - apart from a few.
