January 4, 200917 yr Author It really helped Jagex but was hated alot on the start and some ppl still hate it now.... Guess some ppl never change
January 5, 200917 yr The trade limit was one of the key components in my decision to stop playing. So yeah, it made my future a lot brighter and my life a lot better! And so you know: the trade limit itself isn't what made me quit. It's a long story. If you want to read it, you can find it here. Resident Tip.it Cow. :^_^:[blog] [twitter]
January 7, 200917 yr didn't change much in my game (probably because I had the max qp already), I love the GE system, helps the skillers like myself ;D Thanks to Vey for the hawt siggie <3
January 7, 200917 yr I really do miss the days of being able to find a great deal on an item from someone trying to sell it quickly. I actually miss and prefer world 2 fally over the ge.
January 7, 200917 yr The Grand Exchange was one of the best updates for Slayers like myself. The ability to stick alchable items, like rune, in the G.E. made being on Lunar have almost no drawback. Trade Limit owns. Get out of my mind.
January 7, 200917 yr Junk trading. Junk trading = . It didn't affect me, well not directly. I always did most of my things on my own and am much this way, I almost never even need to trade. The only problem is the people junk trading. It's so annoying when you try to trade someone for only geepees and they want to trade junk.
January 7, 200917 yr seems like its only been a week since ive seen one of these threads ... anyways trade limit hasnt affected me much at all.
January 7, 200917 yr I was happy, but annoyed because several threads popped up that were basically "JAGEX NOO Y U DO DIS? NAO I CANT SCAM NUBS" But, as mentioned it DID ruin my Fletching because I couldn't 'Supps for Longs' trade anymore
January 7, 200917 yr Also, the only think I don't like about it was that it was chosen to be changed by quests. I see how it works and it makes sence, but total level would probably be easier for non-questers. (Skillers wouldn't benifit as much compared to Non-questers) QFT. The limits seriously made F2P crafting a [female dog]. I could buy uncuts for a fraction of what they were worth... saphs for 50, ems for 100, rubies for 500, and diamonds for 1k - made training to 50 crafting a cheap breeze. Now that everyone knows what's worth what, I can't train crafting easily anymore. meh. This is exactly what I used to do.
January 7, 200917 yr Trade limits didn't affect me at I'll. I don't scam. I don't bend prices. I don't want free stuff. And, after dropping half of my money at one point, then totally regretting it, I'm not going to be giving away much. The trade limit only affects those who play the game in an odd fashion. Scamming is terrible, bending prices is rather sinister, begging is selfish and annoying, and givers can still use the party room, anyway. Oh wait, it did affect me in one way: Jagex hasn't gone out of business.
