July 20, 200520 yr No, no, and no. If I go into the wild, I am at risk to be killed by a PKer. If a PKer runs into me anywhere else, he may not PK me, end of story. Sorry to sound harsh, but as a non-PKer that's how I feel. By the way, what's the motive behind this topic and similar ones? Aren't there plenty of players and newbies in the wildy already? I'm sure it's not like no one goes there anymore. lpinkus

July 21, 200520 yr Sorry but no. How many players on each server at busy times? Up to 2000 and very often extremely close to it. It would be madness, everyone killing people fresh from tutorial island. But then you may say make it like the wildy...some places the level gap will need to be more/less for you to be attacked..but then how would you decide where the higher risk places are? Probably the best training spots and maybe some towns. So basically a day where no-one gets anything done. Not a great idea i'm afraid :/.

July 22, 200520 yr I am an impure. Whenever I go into the wild, I get owned. I hate the wild. I bet there are at least 500,000 people who feel that way. And these people won't log on that day. But all servers all pk for one day? no I've never had a problem with that, one server for PKing in all areas. I assume, tho, that programming just one world differently is not so easy. Am I right, tech-y peeps? Right now there are two kinds of servers: free and members. This would require adding a third. lpinkus

I pay five bucks a month. I follow all the rules. I don't PK. So, it's NOT my problem :) Again, I sympathize with you PKers who deal with runners and tele-ers, but those are not ban-able offenses. I agree it's not really "honorable" if a player you're fighting, meaning one who agreed to fight you, runs away/teles. Fine. However, I don't go to the wildy to fight, only for items. Rarely. If I'm coming through and you attack me, then I teleport, you have no right to call me a noob. Just so we understand each other :) On the other hand, I *guess* I would accept this for wildy for one day if you added Ardougne to the "safe" cities :) I'd just go ahead and thieve/craft that day. lpinkus
