well i'm 71 combat, and was wondering should i get full melee void, how long would it take to get and is it worth it? i would be on novice boat getting 2 points per game, how many points do i need and what slots does it fill and what are the effects?

I wouldn't recommend getting it at such a low level.

why not, what's the difference bewteen 70 cb and say 120 cb? it would be a long term investment right? i'm not arguing i just wanna know why

A) You wouldn't be able to use it due to your low level, mainly due to defense problems.

 

B) Even if you did, you won't benefit from it as a higher level would, obviously, not only because of defense but your offense is raised by a %.

 

C) Long term investment, yes... but why get it now when you can't use it? Get it at a higher level (108 is the req for Heart unit) so you can at least use it efficiently. Plus, getting it later is much faster.

Short answer: No.

 

- Void melee boots strength and attack by 10%. So, the higher your levels, the greater difference; for example at 60 and 60, you'll only be getting a 6 and 6 level bonus. At 99, you'll be getting [almost] 10.

 

- Void provides poor defence (8 all def stats per item, or 32) so you'll take too much damage.

 

- Don't quote me, but I think void and berserker necklace doesn't stack.

and on thsi equpitment bonus thing it says the top gives +45 def bonus helm gives +6 and no data on legs or gloves if there is some

- Heart Unit is a Pest Control clan. You need a higher combat level to join, but the games go much faster.

 

- Void Melee is only really useful if you're using a high-hitting weapon like a godsword. Otherwise you'd be better off with barrow gloves, neitiznot helm and torso/bandos/whatever. This is because, while it boosts your accuracy by 10%, it also boosts your maximum damage by 10% instead of your strength. This means that it's more useful with a weapon with bigger hits. It also means that it becomes more effective at higher strength and attack levels, so it probably won't work very well for you.

 

- Its defence is terrible - at 99 defence I frequently die while playing Pest Control itself, and those monsters aren't that tough.

just take everyones advice, it is not worth it till higher levels and even then not really that great. Its really only useful if you have a godsword
