best way to farm?

usually i only farm in 1-2 patches. but at 34 farming, theres not much to grow. i was wondering, what would be the most fats way to raise it up. (quickly) any thoughts? :roll:

farm at all four patches, then come back an hour later. if you use super compost, your plants wont die often, and you will get bigger yeilds. bigger yeilds = more xp. also, you can start planting normal and fruit trees for 1k+ xp a pop. you can grow then every 14 hrs.

same as alotmets, plant trees at all the patches you can. use tip.it's farming guide to see a list of all the patches.

Moved to Help & Advice. As for trees, just use all patches at once, they're all pretty close to a bank. Especially Falador and Varrock.

That shows all the fruit tree patches. I suggest doing as many of them as possible.

 

 

 

Fruit trees are typically alot cheaper than normal trees per xp, simply because they take longer to grow. But if you are not worried about time, I'd just do the highest fruit tree you can until you get to curry trees. It may take a little longer than doing normal trees, but saves a lot of money in the long run. Unless of course, money isnt an issue, then just plant the highest levels of all your herbs, trees, and fruit trees.

but for little money you could be 50 farming in no time..

 

stick with oak/ willows and plant what you can afford. pay for these to grow, oaks you can check every few hours, willows a little longer, and maples longer, etc.

 

do apple/banana/orange trees and plant with SUPERCOMPOST (as payments are more expensive then the trees.. and only once and a while do you really lose trees.. but fruit trees take all day to grow(if you try checking em in 14 hours.. you might have 1 or 2 of 5 ready to check. that was just kind of a base amount of time jagex had in they're original official guide)

 

and you can save them if you catch the disease in time..

 

and if you check this out, it has pretty much every patch except a few that were added recently
