July 22, 200520 yr Anyone noticed when you take a photo of your self on your cam phone or web cam, and then look at your self again in the mirror you look totally diffrent! Anyone know why this is, lyk, i look okish in the mirror, but on the cam i look a [bleep]! such a big face is there like a reason for this :?

July 23, 200520 yr i look better in a mirror... but Merc...id think the opposite...but hey wat do i know...im just saying id think that...im prolly wrong though lol ur face looks alot more rounded on a webcam... after the pics are developed though...or printed...i think u look the same as in a mirror
July 23, 200520 yr I think a mirror shows ALL of your imperfections because it is so clear and vibrant. However, when you take a picture or something it is a bit distorted due to the pixelation and some of the small blemishes and things on your face are not as noticable (all this in addition to the lighting, shadowing, etc.) By The_Jeppoz :wink:
July 23, 200520 yr I don't notice much difference. Personally I think my dodge webcam makes me look better than a mirror does because the noise in the webcam kind of hides any problems :P But I don't really care either way. I seem to think I look fine either way and meah *shrug*

July 24, 200520 yr yeh I noticed this also. In the mirror I do look way better than I do if I take a picture of myself.. And no lol why do you always want to get stuff from John Lewis. Its over ̣̉300 more then than what i paid. John Lewis is a great, great shop.

July 24, 200520 yr yeah, the whole point of a camera is that it takes the light as it is bouncing off the object (you) and makes and image as oppossed to reflecting it. simple experiment, take some kind of text and reflect it in a mirror. its backwards. take a photo, and its the same.
