[awnsered] swan song boss fight

Featured Replies

I am wanting to do swan song but I do not know if I can beat this quest, Iam lvl 90, could i beat this quest?

Also in the final boss fight, whats the best way to attack it? tip its guide says melee with protect from magic, but i've also read to melee with protect from melee on?

I think you can but not sure. Remember that this monster drains prayer at the beginning! So bring some prayer pots.

i was a lot lower than a level 90 when i beat it, what's your range level?

I did it today at 94 combat. It was easy. I had 10 prayer pots, but didn't drain more than 20 prayer points. I had black d'hide with whip and prayed magic. At the start she hit a couple of big hits when I wasn't at melee range. It should be very easy if you just remember to pot up before the fight (unlike me) and watch your prayer. Monks or better food is recommended. Gl on quest and welcome to w99 to fish monks with me (already 1,4k monks in banked just in the first day  )

My range level is only 50.

What type of armor should i use? like my blue d'hide or my melee armor?

Well, Runescape wiki tells to use melee armour and pray mage. I guess the d'hide was just so that the few magic attacks it gets at the start don't hit as hard.

The prayer draining attack is only used when you are outside melee range and protect praying, so go to melee range quickly. Once you're there you might need to eat, but that's not a problem. It really won't do much damage at all with melee attacks, so you have very little chance of dying unless you lag badly at the start of the battle or something. Wear a ring of life maybe because you don't get a gravestone.

I needed more monkfish than prayer pots when I meleed. About 5 p pots and 10 monkfish should do the trick if you have my stats. If you are above 83 combat, you could use less. I was also using a rune scimitar, so, yeah, it's pretty easy.

I has herd, that lesser demons, MAY or may not, drop tormented demons. \:D/  :x :D :o  :? 8-)

Due to a typo, I am now stuck with 1k dragon darts and no buyer. Can I has bail out from tip.it plox?

Pretty sure it wasn't as tough as I expected...still, it can't hurt to prepare well. Think of your hardest fight so far...prepare as if you were going in to that fight...it won't be nearly that tough, but it will ease the troubles on your mind!

I did it with 60 def and pray mage with magic pots, I used a familiar though (Summoning just came out). I used my trusty D scim.

Wongton is better than me in anyway~~
