jade_slayer6
I didn't even know how sniping can be related to runescape, unless it's something like having archers shoot 1 person. IMO sounds like something used in noobier speach.
Yomyth105
ive never heard of sniping ... and i know somewhat about pvp. i would guess though that it means to use a ranged attack on a player... probably referring to ranged because a magic attack is what most would consider a more powerful blow such as a blast or something... other then that sniped isnt really a pvp term. baileydafrog
i would say isnt the bone crossbows spec snipe, but surely people dont use that bow during pvp
wormy
It is when you have anywhere between 1 person and the whole clan going entirely after the enemy clan's binders(in robes) and rangers(if they are allowed). This causes the sniped to put on their armor and stop binding. You also get in a few decent hits and also wasting their food in the process. If 'no sniping' is a rule then you mainly have to stick to your piles and not individually target the mages, of course you can call the mages as the next pile though. Seraphi
I have heard the term used somewhere on rs before, I believe it would mean farcasting. EDIT: read the post above. its probably right, as I don't PVP much
totalpwnage
Sniping is a f2p warring term usually where you send off someone in your clan to attack the other teams mages/binders. It can include rangers too, but usually just talks about mages. Mages have very little defence, so you will get a few hits on them and lower the amount of food they have, plus they have to put their rune on so they can't mage or bind. Rangers have more defence, so they aren't sniped so much, but they are sniped. The purpose is to lower their food more quickly, so if they're low food, the clan can take them out more quickly -- lowering their numbers of people quickly. It also helps whoever is tanking by allowing them to hug more easily. Started free trade with 1.5m cash. 2 weeks later, have hit max cash 2x. PvP drops: 359 Brawling Gloves, 11 Vesta's Longswords, 41+ Zaros/Ancient Statues9 Dragon Full Helms, 3 Dragonfire Shields on the old PvP loot system Brawler guide is being finished!
