HexiledRazz
Tittle says most, what is best for speed/cost? I was thinking sally with proselyte plate and skirt. Or slayer dart with SC mage set (easy to get, and is cheaper then mystic). But, I'm not sure. EDIT: Alright, this is what i get for writing a short topic :wall: . I don't think anyone understands my method that i use atm. I think I'm just going to experiment with new methods. Because right now, I'm praying almost the whole way through. But, i haven't done any barrows for at least 4 months. So, my stats are better, and i no longer need to pray the whole way through now. Hexiled Razz. Player since March 8th, 2005. Danqazmlp
First off, fire wave>dart second off, sally's good, but depends if you needs the extra def of a shield while maging. Also you needs fairly high range/melee for saly to work as well too. Want to be my friend? llamster
SC mage? Verac's is the best armor to wear at Barrows for maging, though you can wear a guthan's/torag's/dharok's plate if you need the defence. As the above poster said, fire wave>slayer dart. The main disadvantage with the salamander is that you can't safespot, so you'd have to use prayer pots if you've got dharok in the tunnels. Though you could range them, if you have a good enough range level. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

Aslan
You can get away at Barrows with only praying on Karil/Ahrim.It involves sidestepping around rocks in their tomb.I use Fire Wave myself at Barrows.

Aslan
That only happens if I lag out and don't manage to run behind the rock again. That doesn't happen often.
JoeDaStudd
Cost for cost, Air wave is as cheap as slayer dart and you can hit the same amount (until your over 80 magic). But you have an extra inventory spot (worth having if your doing a few runs then banking, camping it helps less so). I would avoid using any armour worse then rune down there as you'll end up eating more then you would otherwise (less profit). If you plan on doing barrows often veracs body and skirt are a godsend, as they have a only -9 magic with nice 160+ bonus' with just those 2 items, and a nice little prayer bonus. If you have a flick through the achieves of wisdom there are some very nice tricks and tips you can learn which will have you a lot of cash in the long run (side-steping, hiding behind the invisible ladder, hiding behind the various rocks and so forth) [hide=Drops]Dragon Axe x11Berserker Ring x9Warrior Ring x8SeercullDragon MedDragon Boots x4 - all less then 30 kcGodsword Shard (bandos)Granite Maul x 3Solo only - doesn't include barrows[/hide][hide=Stats][/hide]
