Just looking at this forum there is a fake Thugpimp and Adx1 that I've seen in game. There are a lot more too, it's sad how people leech onto someone's name. I tried questioning him and asked who his noob was and he told me it was Proof and that you were Jupita. I remember that, but it just could be common knowledge. I played it for like a week then I got banned for making fun of the owners. It was fun but all the nobodys from rsc team up and mage hits 8 every single time and it's so easy to get runes so everyone has mage and 99 hp getting 3 hit is kind of ridiculous. adx Posted February 21, 2009 Share Posted February 21, 2009 I think the only way you'd be able to run a private server properly is to give the people the stats they had in rsc and go from there, yeah i realise that sounds daft and unfair but no-one is going to waste time training all over again and if they change the experience then everyone is going to be max level which just ruins the wilderness - i like the idea of runes being readily available but again this ruins the authenticity What it really needs is a strong individual to run it, someone that won't ban you for being an enemy but will stop you ever playing again if you cheat (something Jagex failed at) i can't remember which one it was i played but members had increased experience (business-wise it was genius lol) but even that was a little too quick for my liking, Jagex had theirs spot on because by the time you leveled to 100+ you had a bank which matched your level (or should of had) I just don't think there's ever going to be a priv server that will effectively re-create Rsc, unfortunately it seems that the people with the ability to make them are the people that strived to be noticed on Rsc and weren't which is a bad formula because they'll then interfere too much - And as someone said earlier they got banned for taking the piss out of them? By all means it's their right to do this.. but cmon? Yeah, it would be better if it was a perfect clone of RSC, but you'll always have someone hosting a source looking to profit off donations. It's sad because people that missed out in RSC think having a party hat on a private server is the same and will pay money for them. I still play king though, it's close enough to pk'ing for me.
