February 10, 200917 yr So I have just saved over 250k and spent it on my Full rune set. I love it better than addy for sure. But as I start t level up I notice that I cant Buy anything else! Sure there's trimed armor (WASTE!). But thats it! Like the only thing after rune well is [bleep]e Sheild's and Beserker Sheild. Am i missing somthing? Also it seems the the best Freeplay weapon is the RUNE SCIMMY!!!! Sure its cool but come on! When I saw the dragon list Im like COOL and its non member (Not noticeing how it said beside the items Members:) But then i noticed! IS THERE ANYTHING BETTER!!?!?!?

February 10, 200917 yr BTW plx post as to what kind of armour you mean Mele Yes corrupt dragon but it degrades after 30 mins so its a waste. God rune sets (just looks nice) Range green d hide and coif mage druidic robes and anti drag sheild other saftey gloves and security boots FTW!
February 10, 200917 yr rune gauntlets are the best gloves rune berserker shield best shield and what you said is the best f2p melee gear that doesnt degrade well rune berserker degrades but only after 6hrs but if you hate fog just use rune kite
February 10, 200917 yr Full rune is all there is. If you really wanna max out in items, get a berserker shield, security boots, rune gauntlets, rune scimitar, power amulet a cape and full rune. F2p really doesn't have much options I'm afraid, in items, your not gonna get any better until jagex releases something. Take it from me, become member, or make a pure, not much other fun things to do in f2p. O.O

That being said, the best armor and weapons that you will be using to train are indeed runite. February 11, 200917 yr In all actuality, there really is not a need for a better melee armor in f2p if you think about it. If you take into consideration the monsters you have to choose from to train on in f2p, Runite armor is adequate. If they ever do give a better option as far as armor, then I would think they would have to do it for range and magic too.

February 11, 200917 yr Full Dragon Corrupted really is the best. But if you dont like that, then theres full Rune, with Rune Berserker Shield from FoG (I personally dont like it because it corrupts like Barrows armour, and its not worth repairing again and again, but I sometimes use it for PvP). I usually just go with full Rune, Rune Gauntlets from FoG, Explorers Ring 3 from Achievement Diaries, any cape, Amulet of Power (sometimes I go str), and Fighter/Fancy Boots from SoS. The only things that give strength boosts besides weapons are Amulet of Strength, Rune (and weaker) Gauntlets, Rune/Adamant Berserker Shield, and Amulet of Power. (Im not sure about [bleep]eshields from FoG) The only things that give attack boosts besides weapons is an Amulet of Strength. (Im not sure about FoG shields/gauntlets or Fighter Gloves from SoPS)

February 11, 200917 yr The best F2P melee setup is full rune with rune gauntlets (note that when you buy them off the G.E, they'll be broken, you'll need to repair them at FOG). You can use a zerker shield if you want, but it defense stats are barely higher (+1) than a regular rune kite. Use a power amulet for training, but a lot of people prefer the strength amulet for pking thanks to the strength bonus.
