wl_daniel
I had a second generation ipod which got stolen and recently bought a ipod photo 60gb. I like ipods because of their looks mainly. Sound quality is ok, not as good as my Sony MZ-RH10 minidisc player/recorder which i use to record live concerts and recitals. What i like best about the newest ipod is the linux hack. Lets you watch full color videos on it :P. No sound though, ppl cant figure out how to get the second processor on the ipod working with linux  60GB? That's alot,,I've a mp3 player with 265 mb and I only listen to the songs I like at the moment.....but 60GB?...what are you doing with it :P

runesmithie
If I got an iPod free I'd probably keep it, but if I had to pay a few hundred for it, no deal  I'm not a big music person so I'd just get some generic mp3 player for 30-50 dollars I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam. Mercifull
So it's possible for me to purchase songs from iTunes with some other 3rd party program? Is it possible to buy Asda products at Sainsburies? Of course not. Think logically. *sigh* Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. Eject it. Then plug it in to the next computer and repeat :D

Of course not. Think logically. *sigh* Well, it's possible to download content from Kazaa without using the Kazaa client using some other client (my favorite is giFT). I ignored your comment and googled around and found that there are iTMS clients out there (here) but it seems Apple doesn't allow connecting to iTMS using clients other than iTunes, unfortunately for me. ~_~ Buuut I googled some more and found that I can emulate iTunes in Linux using Cross Over Office. :) :D
Mercifull
Thats because Kazaa, Morpheus etc use a p2p protocol to send/recieve files not central storage servers. iTunes is a music store which means only the client can connect to its servers. The payment is processed by the iTunes servers and the music file sent via itunes. Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape.
