evil_mumm_ra
P.S. For those claiming that opinions like these are being 'shoved down their throats', answer this: if you won't make an effot for your own relatives, who will you make an effort for? the people who i care about, the people who i actually want to be around. some of those people are family members, but other family members aren't on that list. Madmanpur3
In return I notice that when things aren't going well with me, I do get many visitors turn up to my house, phone calls to ask how I'm doing, text full of virtual hugs, or strangers offering their advice, pms on a forum, wishes on a thread, e-cards to cheer me up etc Not that I expect it back but it does make you realize how many people you have helped or inspired. And it is a good feeling. Heh, I'm like the exact opposite of you it seems. If things aren't going well with me and as a result everyone tries comforting me or whatever about it -not only is it not a good feeling, but I sometimes get rather annoyed. I constantly remind my friends that I don't ever want them feeling even the slightest bit sorry for me in any way. In all honesty, I'd rather have one person and no tears shed at my funeral versus a thousand people and a million tears shed. But yeah, I do get what you mean about realizing how many people you've helped/touched/inspired being a good feeling though. May the presents of our lord and savior, Santa, be with you this holiday season!First annual Clausmas - 2009 December
