February 18, 200917 yr Howdy all im looking at making around 5 mil and i wanted to do it in a variety of ways so that i dont get bored. Is gettin 1 more wc lvl and chopping yews an effective way. How olong does a trip, say at seers for example take to cut and bank at level 60wc? Worht it? or another way that could vary me from slayer, fishing and killing dragons for a bit. February 18, 200917 yr yew logs are really not a good way to make money. i would recomend rather, doing runecrafting via the abyss, or nats with a grahhk familiar. you could also do boss hunting [godwars] or as you already mentioned, killing dragons. i would go with dragons because the exp/hr is relatively stable and is pretty good edit: your stats arent high enough for boss hunting. dragons would be the best for you I'm gonna be walking down an alley in varrock, and walka is going to walk up to me in a trench coat and say "psst.. hey man, wanna buy some sara brew"walka92- retired with 99 in attack, strength, defence, health, magic, ranged, prayer and herblore and 137 combat. some day i may return to claim 138 combat, but alas, that time has not yet come
February 18, 200917 yr Yeah, yews are really slow cash. I'd definitely advise against them. Read my blog | Follow me on Twitter | Track my XP
February 18, 200917 yr Actually, yews are great if you'd rather be reading forums than actually paying attention to RuneScape. Just check in occasionally, and when you hear the chopping noises stop. I'd recommend chopping at the Gnome Stronghold (assuming you have the two gnome quests done) for the easy access to the Grand Exchange: sell every day, and merchant to make it to your goal faster.
February 19, 200917 yr yeah, as said above drags are good, i would suggest greens due to the fast trip speed (preferably the chaos tunnel dragons) otherwise, brine rats are good xp but slower cash (lots of noted lobs deaths and sharks) if you have the slayer level i would also try ranging abbarent spectres as they drop good herbs in the end, green dragons would be probablt the fastest you could get without merching or boss hunting
February 21, 200917 yr Author okay thanks guys... maybe ill kepp from wcing for the time being Matt the cup Barrows: Dharoks Greataxe, verac's Flail, Bolt Racks, Dragon MedKBD: 1 X Draconic Vissage (50-50) (18/5/09), 2 X KBD heads(26/5/09 and 11/06/09) 4 X Dragon Med, dragonstone,Treasure Trails: Rune items: 99+, Sara Shield: 1, Guthix Pl8: 1, Saradomin Stole: 1, Sara page, zammy page 2, Random items eg Mahogony Planks/runes: Countless:PPvP items: 1X Dark Bow, 3X Dragon items, 1X corrupt dragon dagger, Mny rune/random items
February 21, 200917 yr Yeah, yews are really slow cash. I'd definitely advise against them. are magics good anymore
February 21, 200917 yr Monster killing is probably best for P2P. Only chop yews if you're like 75+ wc in F2P.
February 21, 200917 yr Yeah, yews are really slow cash. I'd definitely advise against them. are magics good anymore At 99 woodcutting I average 120 magic logs per hour. Not good cash. Read my blog | Follow me on Twitter | Track my XP
February 21, 200917 yr If you've done rockng out you can WC the yews near rimmington and bank in the deposit locker from the quest. But aviansies or green drags are better money
February 21, 200917 yr Chop yews, fletch into bows. Pick flax, spin into strings. String bows. High alc. Not much profit, but it's decent. Any idea on profit for hour w this method? I think it's low, like 50k an hour plus skill or what
